I'm retired, I never really got into psychedelics until I got covid last year. I was so darn sick that I wanted something, anything that might make my life a bit better.

I started on shrooms and love them, but still not quite what I was after. Then I discovered a kind poster on shroomery who was talking about harmala. I did a deep dive and it ended up here. This forum is amazing and it is a deep rabbit hole that I have fallen into.

Background, started astral traveling and OOB doing tai chi and taoist alchemy in the 1980's. It was wonderful for 20 years of brilliant adventures. But, since getting sick with Ross River and EBV I developed chronic fatigue and that stuffed things up for me a lot.

I am now back on track to take back my portal to the astral worlds and I am looking forward to the rabbit hole that is DMT-Nexus and its community.

Great to have you here - welcome!

Have you had much experience with harmalas yet? And if so, have you tried combining them with shrooms? Psilohusca is quite something - I'd suggest going very easy at first with that!

As someone who's getting on a wee bit myself (not retired though - just lazy and fortunate Laughing ) I've found Syrian rue to be an excellent tool for health, physical and mental alike. With your background we won't have to argue that there's much of a strong boundary between the two...

Perhaps you have encountered anecdotal reports of harmala use helping in post-viral syndrome cases and the like. There's certainly a body of evidence in the literature that plants like caapi and Syrian rue display - among a wide range of things - antiviral and antibacterial effects, so I think there's more than a grain of truth to the claims of health benefits (not to mention centuries if not millennia of traditional use.

I'll be very interested to hear how it goes with integrating these amazing plants into your practice. Do remember too, there's a chat function where you stand a fair chance of a more direct interaction.

See you around!

β€œThere is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

Thanks for your warm welcome Downwards, I've ordered some rue seeds but have a few weeks to wait while they wing their way here. I certainly do intend to try the Psilohusca, thanks, that's my goal. When I learn more of what local plants are suitable for DMT extraction I'll be giving that a go too.

I look forward to the curative properties of harmala too, I've a bit of a hill to climb and I think I'm on the right hill. I'm looking forward to posting on the main forum, there's some experiences I'd like to share. That will be something I will jump on when I'm ready to take the next big step.
