It certainly has the potential to re-evaluate former truths.
There are studies about long term ayahuasca users (type that in google, here's one example) compared to a control group, with indeed differences noted. In attachment 3 examples of studies how it affects people.

The re-evaluation of former perceptions about the world can be so stark that it seems like one has stepped into a parallel universe, IME. And I still wish I'd made a note of the hard, physical facts that seem to have changed in significant detail. That could be a false memory syndrome or it could be that I was just plain wrong to start with.

When you begin to delve into the unconscious it's highly likely that you'll find that your worldview is underpinned by a whole bunch of false assumptions. This realisation, or set of realisations, is far from risk-free - it's not without cause that R. A. Wilson labelled the phase of beginning the exploration of ASCs 'Chapel Perilous'.

I think it would be highly valuable for all of us - and especially you, goodone22 - to write down a few details about your difficult experience(s) with 6-APB. Or have you already done this somewhere on the forum?

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

thankyou for your suggestion.
i do write a report if i need it.
i have resolved all my past bad trips(almost).although not easy and took years.and those i couldn't resolve i think is not possible to solve.i read a lot of reports.and i know sometimes the only way is to just forget it.

Another angle on this is that in gaining a heightened set of perceptions you end up noticing just how much weird stuff goes on in the everyday world that previously you had been trained, usually during early childhood, to screen out.

In a way that could be seen as an argument against the idea to just forget about the difficult stuff.
