Howdy all, what a gift it is to find this place! while i had viewed some threads as a guest, i never realized the whole damn forum was dedicated to DMT!!

Without disclosing much personal info, i can only share my hobbies, I enjoy researching, analyzing, and recreating the experiences i have with my psychedelic journey through sounds and imagery, via music and art. While i have just recently had my first complete break through, I still have found a lot to share on the experiences. And i aim to learn as much from these experiences as i can. Hopefully with the help of this community, and my ever fading memory of the experience, i can find a deeper meaning via symbolisms. I Look forward to sharing what i've learned, and as well look forward to learning things myself. Very happy

Hello and welcome to the Nexus!

How long have you experimented with psychedelics and which ones have you tried? Is there any one substance, or a group of substances, of which you are particularly fond? Do you find some substances easier than others to incorporate into your creative expression?

I'd love to see or hear some of your creative efforts. I've tried to do the same myself and it is not necessarily all that easy! Thus I have massive respect for anyone who attempts to do so.

100% on point with the TMcK quote too, hope to see you around - remember we have a chat room too Thumbs up

Well, funny story... DMT was my first psychedelic experience, and my 3rd drug that I ever experimented with. (weed then a xanax then DMT) I am quite fond of it but draw the line of whether I'm in it to have a "fun" trip or a deep, spiritual analysis. I can pretty safely say that I maintain a level of respect and respectful fear to the substance and the experience. I have had 1 near breakthrough and 1 complete breakthrough.

I will say that for me, DMT is quite easy to create a fair representation of (this is NOT saying the experience and effects of DMT are anything easier than completely impossible to recreate!) but I tend to have 1 or 2 "screenshots" of my trip in my mind after gaining consciousness.

I am in the process of finding the time to put the visual effects on paper. One thing I find funny now that you mention "hearing" my creative efforts, is that during the comedown of my first breakthrough, when the ability to make material/worldly associations to sounds and sights came back, The sound I was hearing was eerily similar to Aerosmith's "Dream On" Which to me is hilarious Laughing Laughing

Though that might just be a coincidence and not really what I was hearing at all, or even more likely is my mind piecing together fragments of memory to connect familiar reality with hallucination... Who knows.. i'm talking out my ass! Razz

I will definitely look into making some art and perhaps even music here soon. Might keep that in mind during this trip i'm having shortly. Wish me luck!!

Bit late to wish you luck now, and I was asleep at the time, but I hope it turned out well all the same.

Have you made any sketches yet?
