So, I've taken the last 30 days off of anything psychoactive. I like a solid reset every year or so, and it does my mind well.

I've been preparing for a sit with Mother Ayahuasca tonight now for the past few weeks, everything set up to be as perfect as possible. Essential oils to diffuse, a heated footbath with lavender Epsom salts (this is a SERIOUSLY underrated combo with psychedelics, lol), a Kambo session held last night, and a close friend who's done the same fast and preparations as I.

Well, I also took 30 days off of cannabis, and I did smoke last night for the first time in a month. I woke up today, still with the munchies, and I want Pho from the local Vietnamese place so bad, lol.

Never thought I'd have this hard of a time making decisions about an ayahuasca trip I've planned out for weeks on end Laughing

This post is mostly joking, lol. I'm definitely going to hold off on the food and go through with my plans. Just thought I'd share a bit of humor only people like us can appreciate with y'all <3

Update: Mashed potatoes and salad it is, lol.

I like to eat still about 5 hours out, purging without anything in your stomach to get up can be pretty miserable sometimes.

I am not really straight about dieta. I think that their is nothing bader then to go into a ceremony hungry and in bad mood for that Razz

So, how did it go for you? I've been wondering too.

I was largely unconcerned about dieta in my ongoing explorations of rue extract but more recently have become more mindful of things since noticing that tyramine-rich foods do indeed lead to a higher chance of nausea (but the homemade pizza was so nice, though Very happy ) And even moderate caffeine consumption leads to cardiovascular effects and green tea is a disproportionate culprit in comparison to coffee. I think it's the green tea polyphenols that lead to this enhanced effect because black tea is no worse than coffee in that respect.

All that said, I've avoided yeast extract, pickled herrings and sauerkraut - all of which I'm rather fond of - fairly consistently, or at least I ensure a good five hours between eating any of those things and taking the harmala extract.

Essentially, your mental deliberations are not unfamiliar to me Big grin

β€œThere is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

Oh man was it beautiful, lol Love

So, i went into the first session with intentions of breaking a cycle with nicotine. It's something i've been working hard on lately, and have been making decent progress. Well, went into the session with intentions on becoming more content with quitting habitual use. I would LOVE to be able to efficiently utilize rapé in a ceremonial aspect which is impossible when you're addicted to massive levels of nicotine, thanks to nicotine salt vaporizers.

Anyways, i woke up the next day, and I had kicked my vape into the remainder of the caapi brew off the day bed in the middle of the session. Obviously broke it. It's been 3 days and still no nicotine, so that's been a blessing for sure, I hope I keep up with it.

It was profound enough I ended up going two days in a row, continuing the fast. I got through some seriously profound breakthroughs I've been trying to reach towards for a while now. I'm a writer as well, and it really helped me focus on some key aspects of my current projects.

All in all, it's Ayahuasca. It did exactly what it does each time before, lol. Reminded me how insignificant i am yet important to the whole, and motivated me to continue only going up in life <3

This medicine is such a blessing to access. I seriously think we could do away with all anti-depressants if we just had people sit with ayahuasca twice a year instead.

I get ROUGH tyramine side effects. I don't know if this is because I'm prone to migraines or not. But I really have to make sure I'm under 5mg of tyramine for the day if I am to dose an MAOI. I've gotten near suicidal migraines before when I've taken a full MAOI dose with 15mg of tyramine foods in me with psilohuasca. Like TERRIBLE AWFUL pain, hard to get through 4 hours of it even with pain relievers like morphine.

Any advice for me to kick the nicotine? I managed to quit for 3 years then started again about 9 years ago. Since then I've never managed more than a few weeks. It's high on my agenda now, but I keep buying more pouches of tobacco.
I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.
