My experience with DMT is fairly limited, probably 12-15 journeys so far. Several have resulted in breakthroughs or so I believe based off of the overall experience. But up until last night I have never experienced contact with any of the entities. After my trip a few nights ago where I experienced complete dissolution of my physical and higher self with no contact, I decided to visit a lower level last night for comparison. It was here in this space that I encountered a female form or energy and at one point she "unmasked" and showed her face to me. I remember this made me very happy. She was a stunning creature made entirely of what appeared to be pure energy or electricity for a lack of better words. She also seemed to be very playful with me if you will. A stark contrast to what she showed me a couple nights prior.

My question: is it normal for the entities to not always show themselves? Does everyone have contact with them at some point or another? Or maybe never at all? Do they want to make sure of the travelers intentions before they manifest themselves?

I am trying to make sense of it all, why she waited to show her self for so long.

DMT always has something new to show you

Not all breakthrough experiences are the same in my experience and same goes for subbreakthroughs as well. There are times when entities are there from beginning to end, to not at all, to popping up occasionally throughout the journey, to being at the first half but not the last and visa versa, etc.

And some entities in some ways seem to "assess" us and have an "assessment" prior to and during contact. But not all entities.

That makes perfect sense. Most of my psilocybin trips are deep in the forest. the woods and the mountains are a place i feel very connected to anyway. My most spiritual experiences have been while alone in nature.
