Yay! After years and multiple failed attempts to join this site, it finally happened.

I have learned quite a bit from the extraction teks here that have benefitted myself and my friends and family over the years. DMT has been a very important part of my journey for the last ten or fifteen years working with it. Working with plant and fungus medicines in general really, but DMT holds a special place in my heart. I don't partake as frequently as I once did, but it's still something I do at least a few times a year. I'll forever be grateful for the experiences I've had with it. These days I'm more into working with psilocybin mushrooms and cactus, but I still feel giddy every time I see those crystals forming in naphtha.

Anyways, I look forward to finally being able to participate in discussions here when I have the time. Cheers!

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hello there fellow hyperspace connoisseurSmile

Glad you were finally able to join us. Good things come in time.

How do you like to take your psychedelics? What kinds of things do you do while on them?

Welcome to the Nexus

This is true, patience is a virtue.

I pretty much only eat dried mushrooms with honey. It's kind of become a ritual with honey. I've done tea plenty of times but it's not my preferred way. Capsules for microdoses, which have been a miracle for migraines.

Cactus is either tea or the 69ron style extraction. I like the extraction better because dosing is more accurate, but tea is cheap and easy to make.

For DMT I like to make light changa and sprinkle a little crystal on top. I mostly use a small spoon pipe and just feather the flame to keep from burning it. I'll sometimes vaporize, but it's usually in a pipe on top of changa or rarely cannabis or parsley.

These days most trips are at home, either alone or with people I know very well. Music and art are always a big part of my experiences, either actively making or just observing/enjoying. Mushrooms and DMT are almost always night time in home type deals for me. Cactus is fun in the day too. I love being in the garden and/or out in the sun when it's warm for at least part of my cactus trips. At lower doses, I don't mind being in social environments.

Your dried mushrooms with honey makes me want to try dry mushrooms with ginger syrup Smile Thank you for that. I usually just eat em. Sometimes will make tea. A decade ago, I'd slap em onto a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

A friend of mine just gifted me with some old cacti cuts he had, so will be drying out to make teas as well as experimenting with extraction myself here soon.

I think DMT with cannabis will always have a special place in my heart due to my first several journeys being with the sandwich method.

And you and I are similar at this time. I find it hard sometimes to trip with others and to find the right people to trip with. Granted I have a lot to work on socially Laughing

Oh man, ginger syrup sounds like a great thing to eat mushrooms with too! I might have to try that sometime, thanks.

I hope you have an awesome experience with your cactus adventure, whatever you choose to do. I used to really like LSD, but for some reason I don't as much these days. I feel like I could easily replace it with cactus and not really look back...maybe MDMA too, but a nice roll once and awhile is pretty fun though. Cactus has similarities to both IMO and I love being able to grow my own and develop a relationship with the plant.

For years the cannabis sandwich method was the only way I did things with DMT. I still do occasionally, and it will have a place in my heart as well.

I used to be a lot more social with my tripping. My overall intentions and goals with it have changed over the years and I feel like I need to be more careful opening myself up around people I don't know really well now. I have admittedly developed some trust issues though, and have some social stuff I need to work on too.

I started using it to ease anxiety from changa and pharma. It's really helpful at settling the stomach.

I've had a good feeling for a long time that when my cactus journey truly begins it will be beautiful the whole way, not to say there won't be work to do. I definitely had a sense of both that you've mentioned in my journey yesterday so can subjectively agree.

I feel like it's standard for our experience of life as we age to come across some of these commonalities, such as, for whatever reason, not tripping with others as often. We become more dynamic as we gain new information, and are ever changing entities in this manifestation. The people I am willing to trip with I am very very thankful for, even if it's a rare occurrence. Life gets busy, at least for me, and I assume for most others as well.

Looking to seeing more of you and from you around the forum.
