Welcome to the Nexus!
The issue with Phalaris extraction is less about the extraction method and more about the plant material itself. Phalaris is not known to be a reliable source of DMT. Many people have tried and for the most part results have not been satisfactory, with the results either being very low yield or a potentially unwanted mix of alkaloids. There are some clones that supposedly have a more reliable alkaloid content but I have no experience with it myself and I can't say I read too many success stories either
This doesn't mean it's impossible, there have been a few isolated cases of people having success, but it's most certainly NOT recommended for a person that is not already experienced with extractions. There are other more adequate plants for first timers. Mimosa hostilis rootbark and Acacia confusa are the most commonly used but we do not discuss sourcing of dried plant material here, only live plants and seeds. People have had success growing (or finding in their area) other plants, notably from the Acacia genus, but there are other plants that could be promissing such as Desmanthus spp.
Whichever DMT-containing plant you do decide to extract, any typical A/B or STB extraction should work such as Noman's tek, CYB's tek, or whatever..
