I don't know their claim to be the first clinical trial using DMT (or rather SPL026 that seems to be DMT Fumarate) and the company Small Pharma Inc. pops up alot on financial investor sites. So I guess this has it's sides (psychedelic capitalism being one).

This is validating and encouraging.

Hopefully there will be studies on persistent depression as well, though I imagine there's a higher incidence of major depressive disorder.

I didn't know about the differences between persistent depression and major depressive disorder. Now after a quick search I have a clue at least.

I guess that in persistent depression some thoughts/behaviors have become rigid so that more in the persons life and situation needs to change. But I don't know...

Hope you're well.

For me, it entails almost always dealing with one symptom or another. I also get bouts of major depression, which doubles the cognitive and emotional load. For some, persistent depression is lifelong. It's wild and complex.

And I am Smile I hope you are too friend Love
