Hello friends,

As the title suggests I am an avid grower of all things, recently I stumbled across an Aya podcast and loved the idea of cultivating plants (B Caapi & P Viridis) with such a rich history over in my cold rainy country.

Unfortunately it's not been the easiest start, I've been DMed on reddit by two people claiming to have connections to someone who could offer the plants but I gave up when some red flags emerged (if a reddit DM wasn't a big enough red flag already)

I am planning on purchasing from Worldseedsupply if I can't find a source for cuttings anywhere reasonably priced - but I don't have high hopes for them germinating.

My interest in the recreational use of Aya is actually secondary to my interest in growing it, though I am a believer in it being beneficial to many people and wouldn't be opposed to trying it personally.

Has anybody else had a similar experience, or any advice for a newbie?

Yo

Not so sure why the zzz zzz, looks like people didnt reply yet dont let that discourage you though!

We have a sister site called ShareTheSeeds you could try asking around there, I'm not sure if these plants grow from seeds but if they do that is the route I would advise since it's easy to mail and them seeds are usually cheap aswell Smile

On the other hand, what about you yourself, do you like psychedelics? What about inner health, do you meditate may be?

We do also have a chat room, it is quite sometimes so if you leave it open on one tab you can get some good convos going on occasionally, Smile

Cheers
A second chance? Huh... I thought I was on my fifth.

Just food for thought. Although it's not the original plant used, Acacia Acuminata might be worth looking into. It grows fast, is sustainable (you can use leaves and young twigs I believe instead of harvesting the bark) and it should grow in your environment in the UK (much easier to grow than pyschotria or mimosa in those climates).

In addition, you can use the leaves etc from A. Acuminata for a Aya tea brew. I think they call the tea brew by some other name though when you use Acacia.

Buying syrian rue online would be a good alternative to B. Caapi as B. Caapi wont be easy to grow in the UK but then that takes the fun out of growing a plant.
