Wal-mart can sell Morning Glories and BBB gets theirs seized. The FDA is so outrageously out of line here. They need to be shut down. They are acting recklessly, interfering with religious freedom, seizing completely legal seeds from BBB which they allow Wal-mart to freely sell. The same is true for the cacti. This is nonsense. The FDA needs to be shut down. They are completely out of hand.

Extraction of LSA from Morning Glories is a practice that has been part of American shamanism for thousands of years. All US citizens have the right to practice shamanism. This is our constitutional right. Extracting LSA for use in an entheogen beverage is critical to shamanism and is supposed to be legal in the US. The FDA has no right interfering with religious freedom and should be shut down for it.

So is Wal-mart. So is the FDA (they make dirty under the table money. It's well known that they do.). 90% of the US government is all about making money. That means nothing. BBB should make money. They provide religious material for entheogen users. Maybe they should be exempt from paying taxes.

Walmart doesnt do anything illegal.

You obviously have no fucking clue. I just read an article where a guy sent his 12 year old kid to walmart with $200. to buy enough OVC med.'s to get his whole school high. Walmart sold it to him (boxes and boxes of robo, sudafed, etc.), no questions asked. A whole shopping cart full of drugs to a 12 yr. old. Fuck walmart, and fuck your ignorance!

no problem, we all get our bad moods one time or another Smile

indeed you didnt say for him personally but rather for his ignorance, but in any case it had an overall offensive tone (IMHO), which you realized, so its good Smile Just like we all have bad mood one time or another, so we are ignorant in one thing or another, so rather lets try to show why, just like we would like people to show when we are ourselves ignorant of something

I agree, and again, I apologize. I haven't eaten today, and I'm hungry and grumpy. 00, I apologize for the attack.

First of all, fucking right on, 69ron!!!

Do not simply take to the streets to get tromped by cops, it happens all the time and the public remains unsympathetic (especially not for "drug users" ). We need everyone at full strength to be able to fight this, and you're no good in jail (way too many of us are already there). My advice: Get rid of all suspicious plants (unless it's planted and legal), chemicals, paraphernalia, equipment, and even computer files; at least find a good safe place for some of these things. Paranoia? No, you need to be completely clean of legal risks before taking to the street and organizing or you'll find yourself taken out of the fight quite quickly. If there's one thing the opposition loves is to be able to pin drug activists (and other activists for that matter) with drug charges, since generally there's a pretty good chance that if you advocate the legalization of these substances, you use them as well (habitually, as they would choose to believe).

Work toward securing these rights for the future, and harder and more strategically you work at it, the nearer that future will be.

If you're going to stick your neck out and stock up, make sure to stock up for something more than just personal use.

Neither is BBB. It says very clearly on the package of seeds "NOT FOR INGESTION". I know people that have bought them. It is very clearly stated as such. They also say this very clearly on their web site. So the printed text on their site and their products definitely proves they are not sold to be eaten. If they were, they would say right on the package something like, "Take 5 seeds for hallucinogenic effects". But no, it says "NOT FOR INGESTION" or something similar (maybe someone can post a picture of such a package for 00 to see). So they are in fact selling it with the same intent as Wal-mart, and are unfairly being attacked by the FDA for doing the exact same thing Wal-mart is free to do.

WE ALL KNOW SOME PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT THE SEEDS FROM WAL-MART SOLELY TO INGEST THEM. WAL-MART ALSO KNOWS THIS. IT'S COMMON KNOWLEDGE THAT SOME PEOPLE INGEST THESE SEEDS PURCHASED FROM WAL-MART. WHY DOES THE FDA LEAVE WAL-MART ALONE? 1 REASON: BIG MONEY!

This is outrageous. I’m sure enough of their customers have pictures of the products which clearly state “NOT FOR INGESTION” on the package that they can offer the court as proof of BBB’s intent of selling the seeds solely for propagation.

Be honest, we all know that BBB was profiting from the demand for DRUGS.

Wal-mart does too. They sell all sorts of drugs in their pharmaceutical department. Many of which are more damaging than DMT, LSA, and the others contained in some plants sold by BBB. Wal-mart's drugs are also highly processed, available in pill and liquid form, and can easily kill anyone taking them.

Many kids buy cough medicine at Wal-mart and anti-nausea medicine to get high from it. We all know this is true. Some people even buy glue from Wal-mart to get high from it.

How is that any different at all? It's not different at all.

The drugs sold at Wal-mart are DRUGS. They are packaged as DRUGS. Some are used recreationally. There is no difference. They are drugs sellers just as much as people selling heroin are.

The FDA wants there to be a difference. But in reality, there is no difference and we all know this.

The FDA only wants the companies who've given them millions to get their drugs approved to be allowed to sell drugs. Many anti-depressants approved by the FDA are dangerous addictive drugs that just get you HIGH and are designed to make a high profit. We all know this. The FDA is just an organization designed to help large drug pushing corporations stamp out the little guys like BBB. It's a complete joke.

The FDA is one of the most corrupt organizations in the US. There are many countless stories of how very dangerous drugs and food additives get approved by the FDA and safe herbal alternatives get banned. I am so sick of the FDA.

This is how the FDA works:

Companies pay off high ranking officials at the FDA under the table and their drugs magically get approved. It doesn’t matter if its something as dangerous and useless as NutraSweet or Splenda. All it takes is BIG MONEY and you can get it approved. If you don’t have the resources to give them money under the table, nothing gets approved.

Ephedra is less dangerous than a lot of medicines approved by the FDA, and yet ephedra is banned. Why? Big corporations paid off the FDA to get it banned so they could sell their recently approved synthetic ephedra replacements to the public.

It’s all about money. That’s it. Money runs the FDA. Anyone saying anything else has NOT done their research on how the FDA really works.

Check out the Splenda and NutraSweet scandals involving the FDA. There are many websites that give all the nasty details about how these nasty toxic substances got approved by the FDA being bought and sold by BIG MONEY. It is enough to make anyone sick to death of the FDA and want them shut down for endangering the health of all US citizens.

69ron, I am not saying that some people dont eat the seeds that they buy from Walmart but it is not Walmart's intention to win that business by offering these seeds. BBB, on the otherhand, is marketing their seeds with the intention of supplying that illegal demand.

Walmart is also one of the, if not the biggest seller of ammunition in the United States, but all that is used for legal purposes to right?

Since K2, and synthetic cannabinoids found in it, aren't illegal yet on the state,
doesn't that make anything seized under that warrant not admissible as evidence in a
court case?

Sounds to me like the warrant wasn't legal under current state legislature, making the
raid completely illegal in both cases.

I hope Mr. Sloan the best of luck in the case. And truely hope he wasn't
running a lab on the property.

Maybe the FDA will try it as an analogue case.

How do you know that to be true? Where is the proof of that? You have proof? I certainly don’t see any proof of that anywhere.

BBB sells seeds marketed to the public. The public does what it wants with the seeds. I have purchased seeds from them to grow flowers.

If you have proof that BBB sells the seeds for people to ingest, then lets see that proof. I certainly do not see it anywhere on their site. I see the opposite on their site.

This is a quote from their site:

Quote:
All of the Ethnobotanicals available from this site are sold for research, education and propagation purposes only. None of the Ethnobotanicals sold are for human consumption. Some of the Ethnobotanicals available are poisonous. The Herbals available have not been evaluated by the FDA. Research all Herbals before using. Use at your own risk.

Customers must be over 18 years of age to purchase anything from this site.

Bouncing Bear, anyone and anything related to Bouncing Bear and this site can not be held accountable for any of your actions or choices.

CUSTOMERS WHO VIOLATE THE USER AGREEMENT WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULL EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS

That is as clear as day. Their seeds are for propagation purposes only.

Prove they are not and I'll listen to you seriously. I see no proof to support your claim. I think the FDA will not win this battle, and is likely to lose some power after they are counter sued. This stupid move by the FDA has upset thousands of people.
