By frequently I mean a few times a week. If somebody has good intention with their endeavors and still gives consideration to a safe set and setting, can more frequently drinking Ayahausca have benefits? I am asking because I have had Ayahuasca around four times over the course of a month, and I noticed that with each trip I gained a deeper understanding of myself and formed increasingly more complex ideas about existence. I found myself dropping habits that did me no good and being more considerate to the people around me. The only negative result I got was a sometimes racing mind and negative reactions from some around me, mostly due to the stigma around psychedelics.
I think that for me if I only took it once then left it alone for a long time I may not have gotten to expand on some of the ideas, as some thought trails were taken further in the subsequent trips. I also found nausea and the urge to purge greatly reduced with each trip which allowed me to focus on the cognitive rather than physical elements of the trip and really home in on these ideas I was developing. The terror of the first hour of my first trip gave way to familiarity by the end of my fourth trip. I don't think one or infrequent sittings would have allowed me to reach that point.
What do you think? Is such use harmful or does it have its own benefits? Do the cons outweigh the pros?

It can be a tightrope. Generally, many would say that that's too much. However, it seems largely subjective. I smoalk changa about once a week, though not breaking through for the most part. There are times I journey daily. There's also the consideration of integration. As a general rule, the more intense and impactful the journey the longer integration can take. It sometimes takes weeks, months, or years to fully integrate changes from an experience. And you really have to listen to yourself to be able to tell if you've fully integrated an experience. Aside from the perceived benefits, what other reason do you have for doing it often? Is there a rush or hurry for growth? One love What if the "truth" is: the "truth" is indescernible/unknowable/nonexistent? Then the closest we get is through being true to and with ourselves. Know thyself, nothing in excess, certainty brings insanity- Delphic Maxims DMT always has something new to show you Question everything... including questioning everything... There's so much I could be wrong about and have no idea... All posts and supposed experiences are from an imaginary interdimensional being. This being has the proclivity and compulsion for delving in depths it shouldn't. Posts should be taken with a grain of salt. 👽

It definitely depends on the person and situation. Use your best judgment. You say you are dropping habits that do not serve you but be cautious of Ayahuasca itself becoming a habit. That said, if you see improvements in most areas of your life I don't see the harm. It's certainly physically can't hurt you. From the unspoken Grows the once broken

Few times a week? Maybe once a year, if you plan ahead. But ongoing? No, dude. I have done this before... and quickly entered the realm of diminishing (crossing into negative) returns. Psychedelics are generally safe, but not totally harmless if you misuse them. I don't want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want a clever signature.

Personally, took full dosages of oral Harmalas and DMT (Rue and Mimosa/Acacia) daily/near daily for 4 years straight from 2012 to 2015, and gotta say, best time of my life, and quite a bit of a different person coming out of it than i was going into it, but i've adjusted over these last few years, and pretty well might i add. I'll admit, things did get a little "crazy" for a bit there, but that was because of the Cannabis, when i didn't smoke i was fine, when i smoked though, it tripped me out worse than Aya ever has.
While i do recommend regular consumption of/work with Aya (Harmalas and DMT), the scheduling is imo up to the person themselves, depending on their life's circumstances, mindset, approach and of course, if they can handle it/themselves. I found Aya to be very sobering, my process was by no means perfect though, i still made mistakes during my work with Aya, and to this day i still make some mistakes here and there, but i'm a far better person now than i used to be, i've matured and grown a lot, and learned so much in the process, i certainly do not regret my "excessive excursion/experimention/exploration" lol.
So i say, go in at your own pace, but do not be afraid of consecutive/regular dosing, things unfold as you go along, people who rarely take this stuff really know nothing about it compared to those more experienced users who have more thoroughly and deeply explored this stuff.

Lol, yeah, what can i say, i was pretty freakin' driven and determined, i was also quite interested and intrigued. I took it like a champ, if i may say so myself lol, life circumstances gave way to a whole lot of free time, and so i spent 4 years exploring myself, no regrets.

You should always have a clear intention and prepare yourself. It's like getting ready for a special encounter with your spouse. You need to be present in the moment. One part of being a psychonaut is learning to appreciate sober life. Sometimes it's not Aya that you need but the time you sit with your own ordinary thoughts and emotions and learn to integrate them. As you proceed in your everyday life you can get further in your Aya experiences. Aya will usually tell you if you are doing it right or if there's something you need to consider.

I watched a show that featured a woman that used Ayuhausca weekly for 7 years as treatment for muscular dystrophy.

Set and setting are so important. And also integration. Are you taking note of what you learned and implementing it? Maybe try journaling frequently during this time.
