This is the case for many. It's a scary ineffable experience and you won't always get the same thing twice.
My two cents; at this point, maybe only shoot for breakthroughs when you have someone trusted with you to assuage any trepidation you may be experiencing. Presently, load enough for a sub-breakthrough or lower until you get the hang of things and then begin to scale up once you're feeling more comfortable.
