New year update. I think I got some parasites. I am treating them with neem oil, which kills them it seems but also burns the leaves of the pereskiopsis One Lophophora root graft did not take. The others are starting to bulge. I identified the bugs as Thysanoptera, which is bad. I will continue to treat them with neem oil and insecticidal soap. FlatLine attached the following image(s): DSC_0235.JPG (142kb) downloaded 39 time(s).

Aw dem babeez! Nice work, and welcome to the Nexus. Looking forward to following your progress with all this. Cactus fans are always welcome here Quote:edit: I don't understand how to attach pictures inline using the forum Some hosting sites block direct linking, so you might have to try uploading to a different hosting site. (Yes, this bugs me too!) “There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work." ― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli

Most of the grafts are growing. A couple are stuck. I have acquired more pereskiopsis and I am planting the top cuts of the grafted one, to use them later. I have sown some Pachycereus pringlei and I will graft them as soon as I have some pereskiopsis available, both the seeds and the plantings are even bigger than saguaros.
