I'm doing a STB tek and I have 3 1L jars with approx 150g of mimosa and 150g of lye in each, there is less than a Liter of distilled water in each jar, My mimosa is powdered and is kind of thick when stirring, it could be comparable to the consistancy of a milkshake.

I have already pulled some naptha and put it in lidded jars in my freezer, i warmed up the naptha considerably before the pulls and instantly put them in the freezer. There is very minimal crystal growth after being the freezer for around 48 hours but there are crystalline growths on the lid of the jars like stallictites and there is crystal growth in areas near the top of the jar where the naptha should not have made contact with, Could this be from evapped naptha with DMT in it condensing on the lid of the jar? Or is it more likely to be moisture or condensation forming water ice crystals on my lid?

That sounds like ice to me.

I use around that much water for 50g's, but I'm not sure if that's the only reason for these results. Though it is possible if the lye saturated the water or something then very little DMT will be soluble in it.

In general a liquid liquid extraction is more efficient if say the aqueous layer in this case is relatively small and the desired alkaloid to be extracted is fairly concentrated. So extracting 5L of aqueous with 500mls of non-polar solvent is going to yield less and take more time and work than 2L and 500mls. Swim agrees with soulfood the growths are most likely ice you wont see dmt crystals above the water line or on the lid, thats condensed water that has frozen. Swims solvent may have to be evaporated down with a fan till it goes cloudy. Thats when it goes in the freezer for 48hrs.

As Soulfood said - you may need more water here as a starting point? Nomans tek suggests 15ml water per g of bark, or even more if it's powdered bark. So for 150g bark you would need at least 2.25L of water in each jar. I'd try those amounts and see if that improves things.
Oh great - the world has just been replaced by elf machinery.
