Hello my fellow psychonauts, I've included some pictures of my psychedelic garden in this post. I bought the san pedro back in 2016 and after cloning, have two new cuttings. I did have a question, if anyone knows what the little black bubble is on the top of my san pedro. I've never seen something like it before, and I'm wondering if I should top it. There's also some pictures of my bolivian torch cacti grown from seed, as well as a one year old mimosa hostilis plant grown from seed with the fire scarification method. Very very beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for sharing! My San Pedro has one of those black spots at the top as well. A new arm grew out of it! Maybe the same will happen for yours  One love What if the "truth" is: the "truth" is indescernible/unknowable/nonexistent? Then the closest we get is through being true to and with ourselves. Know thyself, nothing in excess, certainty brings insanity- Delphic Maxims DMT always has something new to show you  Question everything... including questioning everything... There's so much I could be wrong about and have no idea... All posts and supposed experiences are from an imaginary interdimensional being. The two cacti in the first picture look like they could really do with a bit more light. Put them outside if it's warm enough. Have a look at some pictures of San Pedro cacti in their native habitat for some inspiration. βThere is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. Its hard to tell from the picture but the black spot might be Bipolaris. It can spread really quickly through the center of the cactus. Is the black spot soft or hard? The facebook group "Trichocereus Disease and Virology" is an excelent resource with some very knowledgeable people.

I've harvested some cactis a few years ago from a friend that was moving. I loved how it looked and how fast it grew. Now I'm 99% sure that it is San Pedro. Anyone have experience identifying San Pedro vs the so-called PC or ornamental variant? I will take a pic and try to post...

I dont think that is PC. It has upward facing areoles like PC. But the coloration, thickness, spines, and areole size all look like true Pachanoi. Some of the Ecuadorian Pachanois have this phenotype (but there is no way to know for sure what its origins are). Its a beautiful cactus. It should be a good one. Let us know how it turns out if you ever sample it. IT WAS ALL A DREAM
