A little about me: I am an avid DIYer and athlete. My background is in mechanical engineering, my career is in aerospace manufacturing and my interests include art, science, human performance and betterment of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual self. I'm of the conviction that psychedelics enhance and enable all of these. I am 44 of this writing, and my explorations started about 2 years ago when I took a holotropic breathwork workshop and made a friend who introduced me to the entheogenic community. I've spent a lot of time learning on the Nexus and now I look forward to contributing. My main interests on the Nexus include extraction and vaporization techniques.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Welcome friend (again lol).

Thank you for sharing a little about yourself.

What was your first psychedelic experience? How has that same experience effect you today? What entheogens tickle your fancy the most?

Your career sounds very interesting. What kind of projects currently have your attention.

I have been athletic all my life. Currently in pt to remedy a hip and back issue from an injury a few years ago (445lb deadlift while weighing 141lbs. The belt screwed me, since I never use one and did this time). I don't watch sport really anymore but will engage in them. What athletics have you been in to?

Again welcome, it's a pleasure to meet you.

One love

My initiation was at a small group retreat in a beautiful location. The teachers provided 3 doses of 5-MeO-DMT over the course of our 2 day stay. In the wake of that experience I found myself more self aware and open hearted. I am probably mostly returned to baseline but the door hinges are better lubricated now.

It's fascinating that psychedelics are proving to be neuro-regenerative and neuro-protective. This is hopeful for me because of my personal and familial history.

I have been experimenting with RCs because they are easily accessible to me through a source I've found to be reliable. I enjoy micro and macro doses of LSD-like and Psilocybin-like materials. My favorite is journeying in the woods while on a camping trip. I read a lot about people's experiences on Erowid before selecting something new to try.

I am collaborating with our customer to develop new processes. It's critical work with lots of documentation requirements.

I am sorry to hear about your back! It sounds like you and I are in the same boat. How's your progress been with PT? This winter I aggravated my back shoveling and woke up with excruciating hip pain and noticing numbness in my feet. MRI shows herniated disk putting pressure on a nerve in my lumbar. The neurologist says 70% of the time the body resolve the issue itself with support of PT, which I am doing. At least I can walk around normally now when I first get up. I love bicycling -- my greatest feat was a 120+ mile loop with 10k+ feet of climbing from my home in the valley, into the mountains, and back. Probably won't do that again, but hope to get back on the bike again. I used to love playing basketball and volleyball, but that's over because of ankle injuries.

It's a pleasure to meet you as well, thanks for the good questions.

I believe that successful life and career outcomes are as much a result of unearned privilege and luck as hard work, but I appreciate the encouragement. Thanks for the warm welcome.

^^ beautiful and radiant self awareness my friendSmile

That sounds like an amazing retreat. Have you done 5meo since?

The neurological benefits are also one factor that keep me so fascinated by psychedelics also. There are pieces of progress that I feel I've noticed that I'd like to test objectively (such as improved memory, problem solving, etc) to see how much improvement comes along with particular frequencies and dosages of use.

How many total RCs have you tried. A rabbit hole I have yet to fall down lol.

You must have some killer endurance for escapades like that! I hope you can get back to it soon. What did you do to tweak your back. PT has been going pretty well. It seems to be a bit of a compound problem for me, since I work on my feet now. It's definitely impacted my hips all the way around. But taking baby steps. I can still pull 315lbs for sets of 5 whenever I want and I'm under 140lbs, so I'm thankful for that.

Hope you're having an awesome week Smile
