Hello all,

SWIM is wondering whether 2-Chloropropane can be used as a solvent for the extraction of DMT from MHRB or Phalaris. Any and all advice or knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

definitely not, i mean, its not the most reactive alkyl halide, but it is a reactive alkyl halide. it is not only carcinogenic but it will react with both DMT and with sodium hydroxide
