Just watched a movie called color out of space. https://www.rottentomato...com/m/color_out_of_spaceWithout spoiling anything, so much of how this movie climaxed resembled a number of dmt trips I've had. It was uncanny. Got me thinking and doing some reading and I came across the term "cosmicism" While a philosophy made up by lovecraft for his writings, it sort of rings a number of bells for me. "The philosophy of cosmicism states "that there is no recognizable divine presence, such as a god, in the universe, and that humans are particularly insignificant in the larger scheme of intergalactic existence."[4] The most prominent theme is humanity's fear of their insignificance in the face of an incomprehensibly large universe:[5][6][7] a fear of the cosmic void.[8]" It's going to be interesting to dive into the next trip with this in my mind lol.

Yes Lovecraft and his cosmic horror is the closest thing in fiction to the cosmic notions unpacked in the dmt trip. Borges, who was Lovecraft's biggest fan, also has notions that are dmtesque in his fiction. They both use in their fiction the notion of things which are so uncanny, complex, and beyond our immagination, that they are unfathomable to us. This idea plays out through many a short story of both writers. Check out the story From Beyond, this is a bit of the plot: The story is told from the first-person perspective of an unnamed narrator and details his experiences with a scientist named Crawford Tillinghast. Tillinghast creates an electronic device that emits a resonance wave, which stimulates an affected person's pineal gland, thereby allowing them to perceive planes of existence outside the scope of accepted reality. Bloodborne is the best  Shadow over innsmouth definetly influenced the old hunters dlc. Psychedelic drugs don´t change you, they don´t change your character,

It´s a playstation game. Check the artwork. Its heavily inspired by lovecraft and cosmic horror. Made me go back and read alot of books. Now i have to check out that movie. How are you feeling null? Psychedelic drugs don´t change you, they don´t change your character,

Color out of space was a great movie. I enjoyed the watch. Nick Cage ranting about his alpacas and farming was pretty dam good. Also null if you have a PlayStation I'd really recommend playing Bloodborne. Spent so many years playing that game, and sometimes occasionally every once in a while if I get the urge.
