Hi, My friend just got a whip cream dispenser and some bulbs to have the nitrous experience. One 8g bulb is definitely a lungful. Taking one lungful (bulb) then 15 seconds later taking another produced a rush, slight feeling of oxygen deprivation, wah-wah audio effect and some euphoria. Nothing 'psychedelic' though. Am I missing something? Cheers

You should hold it in as long as you possibly can, when you feel that you need to have some air you should hold it in even longer. Well, basically you hold it in until you start laughing. It will sound like you have an helicopter in the room then you'll laugh. It will be an empty laugh without any real feeling of euphoria accompanied by some two-dimensional "hallucinations" if you close your eyes. The owls are not what they seem

Hmmm. Ok. Don't want to go too long without oxygen, but the helicopter is definitely flying. Will update.

My friend tried again with one cartridge... Can only hold his breath for so long before it becomes uncomfortable though. Helicopters all over the place, no visions.

Actually you can go several minutes without oxygen, much longer than the n20 will be in your body. Crisp wrote:My friend tried again with one cartridge... After the first cartidge he may redose again with another cartridge, this will make it more intense. Also some cannabis or LSA/LSH is great to intensify the n20. The owls are not what they seem

i think if its visions ur looking for - ur barking up the wrong tree completely. oxygen deficiency is not something to attempt to cause. antrocles wrote:...purity of intent....purity of execution....purity of experience...

The intention isn't to deprive yourself of oxygen, it's to inhale enough n2o within a short enough time frame. -- What I am unsure about is how much n2o ones body actually absorbs? I.e. If you hold it in for 15 seconds then breathe out, is that mostly just CO2?

does lack of oxygen(from repeated use and unintentionally) cause some kind of necrosis(of lung tissue) on a microscopic level ? do ppl develop a tolerance to n20 ? antrocles wrote:...purity of intent....purity of execution....purity of experience...

It actually is slightly visual for me. Its seems that anything with psychedelic effects is at least a little visual for me now a days. I get a light purple entwined with yellow patterns, they look almost like bees when I focus on them. I don't hold my breath though. I breathe in and out of the ballon until it is really a strain then I take it all in and hold my breath. You lock the door, and throw away the key
There's someone in my head but it's not me

the effects of nitrous are def not from oxygen def...any more than the effects of inhaling DMT are.. Only did it once many many years ago before I was into these things..it was weird and i felt like i was dreaming. Long live the unwoke.

Wow, not visual on it's own for swim, but quite a rush and definitely addictive potential. Strongly altered/added to the effects of a bit of spice, worth more exploration.

I think it's pretty unspectacular. A quick rush, sometimes adutorial distortions...but nothing more. I'll propably use the rest of my capsules to whip cream

There was a cafe i used to visit where they served balloons. I've spent quite some time there, inhaling the stuff. I wouldn't want to call it peticularly psychedelic. It is said to have simmilar receptor afinity as ketamin, PCP and other deliriants.
To me the effects are of a quick rush, a short moment that feels a bit like a free fall into the depth. It's definately a kick, but very short lasting.
You won't get deep insights or anything.

not visionary for me at all. numb and tingly is what i recall, been a lot of yrs tho. was at a phish show over the summer, and in the lot with hundreds of people around, someone had a huge tank and busted the valve off. it was ridiculous. i prefer whipped cream, too.

IMO, n2o is only "worth' it while on a psychedelic. If you've done them like that, you'll never do them "sober" again!
IME, have a thought in place, then take it. You can mold the experience whoever you want!!!

Well, my friend gave it another go today. Ended up with 20 empty canisters (definitely moorish stuff). For the majority of the 20, was disappointed in the minor effects. Eventually he figured out a technique that worked: He fit two canisters into a pint cream dispenser, and sucked the air out of it slowly, then almost immediately blew it out into a balloon. He did this 2 or 3 times, until the dispenser was empty. He then inhaled and exhaled from the balloon a number of times (not long enough to deprive of much oxygen, don't do that). The peak effects put him in a different headspace, sort of like a trance. He remembers coloured visuals and a type of introspection/teaching/lesson, but watched the memory slip away as he abrupty came down. More updates at some point.

DMTripper is a fictional character therefore everything he says here must be fiction. I mean, who really believes there is such a place as Hyperspace!!

If your trying to explore n2o i suggest trying it with shrooms, lucy, or perhaps some spice. I've only tried it twice and it wasn't that interesting. I was talking in some hilarious deep voice while it felt like i was floating weightlessly around instead of walking. The other time was more interesting with some strange visual affect and mindfuck, but nothing too interesting and i didn't enjoy how i felt later.
<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"
