Hey guys and gals!

Im having an issue with this new bark I obtained magicly. Im getting this oily brown residue underneath my crystals after the freezing process. I had some pretty good size geodes forming in one pan but all around them was this oil. Do some barks leave this behind? A buddy suggested washing it before I make the soup but didnt know how to wash and neither do I. Also something I noticed was when you first remove the pans from the freezer the crystals look plentiful then once they are dry they seem to be disappearing. Never had this problem with the other barks in the past. With out pictures im sure this will be hard to answer but any insight is appericated my friends.

Crystals and very white
Oil is brown almost chocolate color
Oil is more liquid then solid
