ozora psychedelic tribal gathering.

still a bit away, but that cut gets me in the mood for the open air festival season.
the line-up is already raging--shpongle Live-vibrasphere, ace ventura...

Ozora looks like a nice fest, but, this year il most likely be going to either psycrowdelica or The Ritual in Swiss. Probably The Ritual for me.

Have a blast bro.

Would be nice. Too bad it's all the way in hungary. It will be a few years before I have the cash to do that.

It'S also one of my current daydreams...but it'S so expensive and I'm so handicapped when it comes to meeting people.

Look at the film ozora 2009:

i think it's probably inevitable i should have my little say on this thread!

ozora is, in my humble opinion anyway, without doubt the best festival ever.

it truly is a magic place, set in stunningly beautiful, lush little green valleys and populated by the happiest, friendliest people you're ever likey to come across in your life. the vibe here is truly awesome.
i take my hat off to and offer my upmost respect to the organisers of this event, every year they manage to refine and improve it. it's genuinely been a privilige over the last 3 years being a part of and watching this festival develop.

it'll be my fourth time this year and i honestly can't wait. for 1 week in august, there is no place on earth i'd rather be.

oh and obliguhl...

try this short video from '08, catches the magic spot on i think....

This video reminds me of a dream I had. I saw this place...maybe I've watched a video from ozora before. Nevertheless, the vid is full of gems...

6.06 would be me if i'd go alone...
7:30 is by far my favourite...good way to hit on a girl.
7:44 is me after two days...slowly getting there...
8:03 Oh yeah...girl....oh no: GUY!!!
8:33 WOW...what was that.

Well, the whole video is amazing!!! You can really feel it. And it's definatly the spirit!!

but why is everyone drinking beer, that's like pissing on the altar Surprised

ye, I feel the same way. I have heard alot about boom, and it sounds like an amazing time, but, 25000 freaks, hours waiting in the heat to get in, not my cupa tea.

I prefer small intimate gatherings, where by day 2, free chai is being handed out, everyone knows each other, and the vibe is just right.

And, I do like the darker side of the psy scene, none of this fluffy stuff for me.

haha .... I will definetely be there again .
Ozora was just great .

Also wanna go Psycrowdelica and The Ritual

The three festivals have one thing in common this year :
Psykovsky Smile Smile Smile
Had he more quickly realized just who they were,he would have shown them more respect.Had he tried harder to fathom their brilliant minds,he would have taken more of their teachings to heart.Had he more clearly understood the purpose of their being,
he would have more vigorously tried to assist them. They were truly honorable; he was sadly prejudiced.
They were exceedingly well informed; he was grossly ignorant. They were totally indefatigable; he so often, and so quickly, gave up. Still, for many years there was a strong inter-species alliance between the Eleven-Eleven of the Half-way Realm, their Seraphic Associates, and their flesh-and-blood friend, a common mortal. Much was accomplished, many profited, and, there’s only one regret...They could have achieved so much more...

While I am a bit old to be tending these huge festivals, do have to say that I love the fact that such numbers turn out for these types of things. It really shows that people young and old are turning on.
have you ever taken that ferry from San Francisco to Berkeley and looked back and seen that while in Berkeley, San Francisco doesn't exist?

A bit old?? Never to old to attend a festival. My first european festival was the Fullmoon festival 06 in germany, the amount of "old" folk there really surprised me. I prefer not to label people as "old". To me they are just as young as the mind is.

Nothing better than seeing someone close to my fathers age, stomping away to psychedelic beats, big smiles all around.

But yes, it is a good thing to see people of all ages, looks, races etc there for the same reason. MIND EXPANSIONSmile

I always fear that with only a handful of people I won't be able to connect with them in time and be excluded for the rest of the festival. Well, I'm not really able to connect at all, but I keep trying for seven years now. Never been to a trance festival though.

Oh man, I want so bad to go to Ozora... I have fantasized about it for over two years now, maybe 2010 is the year I finally will go? Just a question of money, really... I hope I will be able to go this year, and I hope I will see some fellow Nexusians there! Smile

Does anyone know anything about the line-up? And what about the cost of a ticket?
