Not the way to go.
1. Do not grind the seeds. Harmalas are in seed shells, the kernel contains plant matter that you dont want.
2. Do not boil, only simmer on low flame. More heat - more contaminants pass into solution
3. Do not exceed 50ml/1L of vinegar. The lower the PH the more contaminants cross over. (Ideal PH is around 5.5)
4. Simmer for 40 mins. Do not reduce the liquid.
5. Preferably use sodium carbonate instead of ammonia for collection fractions. Use ammonia only for the final yield (Cost-wise). About 25g sodium carbonate per fraction. Let it cool a bit before adding carbonate.
6. Optionally, you could simmer your seeds in basic water (25g sodium carbonate per liter) for about 40 mins, then discard this fraction and wash the seeds with tap water. This improves the purity
7. Consider doing the manske step (twice in succession) to remove unwanted alkaloids.
