I just wanted to share a testament about the amazing power of this herb...
I had tried it once and found it interesting for exploring CEV/lucid dream states, but it's not something I ever continued to explore, because of the contraindications with Aya. It did feel *AMAZING,* and in a small dose (4g indo), I never experienced hangover, withdrawl, nausea, etc.
Anyway, I went out on a date last night. First date. Got to the guy's house, I just had to make it across the sidewalk and up a few steps to the front door. It was cold and snowing. A huge blast of wind came, I slipped on the ice on the sidewalk, and nearly twisted my ankle off. I fractured one of my metatarsals (but originally just thought it was sprained). I basically crawled up the stairs... "Hi, I'm here!"
I couldn't sleep that night, and the pain got worse, until around 6am, no matter how I placed my foot on the bed, it was SHOOTING and throbbing. I hauled my body to the main room of the house and managed to just lie on the couch and wait for my roommates to wake up. I was crying, howling, praying, swearing, I thought I was going to go insane, because there were no waves and the pain wouldn't stop.
My roommate finally came down, and I begged her to throw a banana and water into the blender so I could mix in some Kratom (just another 4g, nothing crazy).
The pain DISAPPEARED after 5-10 minutes!! That was roughly 16 hours ago, and I am still pain-free.
I have an appointment for a cast tomorrow. Woooo hoo. -.-
But, I had to take some codeine once for my wisdom teeth, and it was a terrible drug. I was addicted, turned into a grouchy person, couldn't get out of bed, or go to the bathroom for a week. I felt AWFUL and had to keep popping them all the time!! Kratom has none of these side effects, it is so smooth, long-lasting, I feel light and clear.
I just felt compelled to share the amazing pain-relief properties of this plant, if you ever happen to find yourself in a stupid situation such as the one described above.
Ibuprofen would not have helped me, and after my horrendous experiences with codeine, there's no way I would ever touch Tylenol 3s or anything of the sort again.
Some things will come easy, some will be a test
