Hello,
After long anticipation, I finally acquired dmt, and had my first journey today. My method of administration was the machine. I put ~60mg in the mesh, melted it in, and started vaporizing. I took a few hits, but i was being overly careful not to burn it, and didn't smoke too much of it.

I then proceeded to take two more hits, this time putting the flame of the torch really close to the mesh, and took two large tokes. At this point, while reality was breaking before me, I realized that there was a small amount of metal dust that I had inhaled with the dmt vapor.

At this point my entire body started going numb, kind of when your leg or arm falls asleep, but my entire body. Now I started freaking out a little, and just submit to the experience, letting the numbness take over. Keep in mind, I was still experiencing the standard effects of dmt, just Ive never heard that it makes your body go numb.

The rest of the experience was unfathomable there were entities communicating, beckoning me to go to the other side of a wall that was there, and to relax.

My question is: was it the dmt which makes one's entire body go numb? Or, could it have been the small amount of metal mesh I inhaled causing this?(I don't really think thats the case, but I don't know) Iknow its super unhealthy, I will not be using this mesh anymore.

Thanks for any answers, I really appreciate any help.

Are you certain that you inhaled the metal dust? Its pretty easy for the mind to latch on to any ideas like that while smoking dmt. If you did, that definitely not good but any lasting effects would be fairly obvious post experience. Often the mind likes to cling to ideas of what could potentially go wrong with a new and powerful experience like dmt. 60mg is a fairly high dose in general, so the numbness you say you felt could just be due to the overwhelming nature of the higher dose dmt experience. people certainly loose contact with their bodies and physical sensations at higher doses. I would imagine numbness feeling might be something in the realm of possible feelings you might have. Unless you had lasting breathing issues or anything in regards to you lungs, perhaps its worth seeking medical help if it feels serious. however to me sounds like you may have just had the classic strong blast off and found something to worry about which is fairly common. its a jarring experience, one certainly can feel many strange sensations and have very wild thoughts. hope this helps, cheers
