Hello, I'd joined a couple years ago to grab some attachments I couldn't without an account and carried on with my day.

Recently I realized I may have done myself no small disservice in this action, the community here seems incredibly vibrant now that I've stopped and taken a moment or few to actually lurk these forums. While I can't say I'll be anything but a lurker on the long term, I feel I should at least break the ice and see what happens!

The short of me outside of the direct topic of this space -- running towards middle aged, rabidly queer, into flow arts and motorsports, and probably really weird by most standards. Absolutely barely manage to act my age on the best of days.

All that aside, the more topical meat of the post:

I've been a long time psychonaught, even if the me of a decade past did everything on pure whimsy more or less and with some really poorly considered chemicals. As I've aged I've slowed down my intake and try to process things a bit more and with greater care in selection... Of course life being busy and the general wear and tear of existence has forced a bit of that I'm sure.

As it stands I'm more or less here to learn, and am incredibly interested in cultivation along side the chemical work needed to bring those substances to use. I've managed the incredibly easy task of growing psilocybe cubensis and am plotting logistics for cannabis, but would love to expand my horizons further and have been eyeballing cactus to that end at some point.

Sadly a few substances of interest are blocked to me as I can't take MAOIs, at least not without a pretty hellish couple weeks while my body clears something out on each side of it.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Thank you, thank you! I'll try and transcribe some of my psychedelic experiences into text at some point in the near future; spin a little actual content up, ya'know?

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

Waaait, you mean doing a a solid dose of 2C-I and finding yourself at a rave having a deep dive into the concept of "fun" won't be the most abnormal thing here? Rad.

Also I don't exactly suggest doing that, but 2011 was a different place and time for me, and I'm kinda glad I did?

edit to reply to someone rather than make a whole new post!

I mean hey, having a house full of life isn't the worst thing! Would probably need to keep the birds out of it, I could only imagine what a tripping conure is like.

Wonderful, nice intro! Welcome Love
