A raw fruit based diet seems to change sleep requirements. But anyways, one of the best ways to prevent getting sick is the good ol' "let thy food be thy medicine" axom... Transitioning slowly to a raw plant based diet high in approximation to what we ate for millions of years in the african tropics (we call it "fruit", but really it's the unimaginably complex biochemical sexual reproductive organs of flowering plants) seems to jive really well with me personally if done right. The studied medicinal benefits of plant foods and medicinal fungi are increasingly off the charts (harmalas as well), which is compounded by the fact that due to generations of eating junk we're probably chronically deficient in a range of things. Have you read the book "Return to the Brain of Eden"? I've been a big fan tonys research for almost a decade now Time flies! New study that may be relevant to the power of the right brain. "Brain and psychological determinants of placebo pill response in chronic pain patients" "The individuals whose pain decreased as a result of the sugar pill had a similar brain anatomy and psychological traits. The right side of their emotional brain was larger than the left, and they had a larger cortical sensory area than people who were not responsive to the placebo. The chronic pain placebo responders also were emotionally self-aware, sensitive to painful situations and mindful of their environment." that is exactly what I need now. Been battling what I believe is an ulcer, for about a month. It settled down, but then I misbehaved and ate spicy food, drank a lot of wine, and it came back with a vengeance. Doc Buxin wrote:[...]coconut oil! She told me to rub it all over my skin before diving in. I'll tell you this for sure, that combo of coconut oil, warm salt water & sun is a serious curative for just about any skin condition EDIT: I'll interject here to confirm that this next part is indeed correct: Quote:(of course, one has to also take into account the emotional aspect of any skin condition since all skin conditions have some kind of emotional aspect at their very root; dead serious).
This "secret" I share with you DFZ due to my incredibly high respect & love for you.
Enjoy & keep in touch. Well, I only just unearthed this reply, and it looks like the doc hasn't been around for a while - but it seems pertinent to confirm that coconut oil really does work wonders. I'm more than happy to discuss skin conditions with any fellow trichonauts! βThere is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work." β Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli

Nerium oleander for help with HIV-1 (HTLV-1) control? https://m.medicalxpress....ffective-htlv-virus.htmlNote that Nerium oleander is considered to have some toxicity to humans, so it is not trivial how to use this plant. A lot of research and info needed before it can be used therapeutically (if that is even possible) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nerium

Shiitake for COVID-19 (in vitro activity of Ξ²-Glucans discussed here) Highlights β’Ξ²-Glucans from shiitake mushroom reduces IL-1Ξ², IL-6 in in vitro lung injury model. β’Ξ²-Glucans from same source can differ in immunomodulatory and pulmonary cytoprotective effects. β’Ξ²-Glucans can reduce oxidative stress and activate macrophages. β’Ξ²-Glucans may ameliorate cytokine storm that causes ARDS as seen with COVID-19.

Looks like melatonin might be beneficial. I don't understand it well enough but I think it would be due mostly to antiinflammatory effects... Also the ability to possibly get a better nights sleep of course. I'm taking more than usual these days... Along with quercetin, a bit of zinc, a bit more vitamin c and vitamin d than usual, and then my regular multivitamins...
