Skip the khat. It will take ages to grow, and the amount of it that you have to chew is not a joke. You will have to chew leaves all day long, like a cow. And... internal organ damage will follow after prolonged abuse. It is a shit stimulant. Not worth it.

P.S.
Purge your system of caffeine and use water combined with hunger as an immediate stimulant.
Also... a drop of d-limonene on a carrier (like a slice of apple) has mild effect as well, similar to caffeine but without crash afterwards.
Also... 50mg artemisinin + 50mg harmine mixed into olive oil does a job. Though, gotta fast 2 hours around artemisinin avoiding iron rich foods. (Also... limit daily artemisinin intake to 100-150mg)

P.P.S
Rhodiola is not a placebo. It takes 2 weeks to kick in. Effects are not noticeable unless you really sit down and concentrate on the task.
Any aggressive stimulant with pronounced effect will cause internal damage while abused.
Ilex was suggested here. Ilex feels very similar to rhodiola, just acts immediately. Those are gentle things.

I might have figured out what happened to my trips. It’s also related to this thread.

My trips changed soon after I started taking Lion’s Mane pills. I have been taking Chaga too but I suspect the former one.

Stamets’s primary attraction to combining psilocybin and lion’s mane is for its duel capacity to both create new neurons and neural pathways, and also to repair existing neurological damage.

Stamets refers to two mice studies where the scientists intentionally damaged the brains of the mice through the introduction of a neurotoxin. The scientists observed the mice’s behavior and noted that they exhibited dementia-like symptoms. Upon introducing lion’s mane, the effects of the neurotoxin reversed.

“The reduction of beta-amyloid plaques in the brains of mushroom-fed mice vs. the mice not fed any mushrooms was remarkable. The formation of amyloid plaques is what many researchers believe is a primary morphological biomarker associated with Alzheimer’s. Plaques linked to beta-amyloid peptide inflame brain tissue, interfere with healthy neuron transmission, and are indicated in nerve degeneration.”

Lion’s mane and psilocybin have a complementary relationship that optimizes returns. Niacin is in the stack for deliverability. Stamets reports that the majority of neurogenesis occurs in the extremities; since niacin works as a flushing agent and carries GABA across the blood-brain barrier, it helps with the distribution of the mushroom molecules. From the combination of these three substances, Stamets hypothesizes the benefits of this nootropic stack:

“This unique combination of compounds can be incorporated into other therapies with such combinations providing unique advantages for medically significant advancements in repairing neurons, removing amyloid plaques, improving mental health, cognition, agility, and improving overall the ecology of consciousness.”

I'm curious where you got this dosage estimate from. I know limonene is supposed to be stimulating though.

ShamensStamen has some interesting experience with terpenes also if I remember correctly (supposedly particular isomers).

From taking it myself. Daily actually, though i take more than a drop, 3-5 drops. Has to be benchmarked individually, but no megadoses. Few drops do the job

Hello all. Interested to see the Ephedra recommendation as a growing possibility. I would be interested in that as well. I for one vote for Mate. I know you are opposed to caffeine but there is something to be said for the national drink of Argentina. There are many quality brands processed in different ways with different qualities and such. Plus you can drink from a mate and bombilla and feel like the coolest kid in town when everyone asks you what you are drinking!

According to at least one analysis, yerba maté contains significantly more theobromine than it does caffeine. This may account for some of the perceived difference in its effects when compared with, e.g., tea or coffee.
FWIW, I find maté tends to give me mouth ulcers for some reason.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
