Right I've just had an unexpected trip. Basically 10 minutes prior I had done 10mg in the GVG, trip went as the majority of my trips have been. Ringing noise, vibrations, fast paced lego land shapes with my eyes open. When with closed eyes usually seems to be some strange shapes, playing cards, greenery etc.

After the trip i looked in the GVG and noticed a few crystals around the rim, so without the ceramic filter back on I just put the torch lighter straight into the pipe and noticed thick smoke came so cleared what had built up and almost instantly I was in a much more extreme lego land like place.

I'm on the bed and straight away what I see is like an Egyptian kingdom. The bed looks much bigger and much lower to the ground, and bearing in mind I'm in a bedroom, I could see a much wider kingdom like place with sand and palm trees. I'm struggling to remember and feel very groggy and confused at the moment Wink

Between a few days ago and the 2 trips tonight the GVG had been cleaned with rubbing alcohol leaving no traces of dmt whatsoever. So only had about 10mg from the other day and about the same again tonight, and all trips been vaped decently as have always been semi intense with a dose generally around 10-15mg. How could this be? Not gonna lie this was amazing and really a breathtaking experience. Must have only been about 5 or 10 minutes but felt like a lifetime. I was conscious but couldn't process all the things at the time and felt almost out of control of my body.

I'm relatively new to dmt, maybe done about a gram in total over the last little while, probably not even. NN DMT seems to create more questions after every use. I've experienced kind of similar in the past but nothing as extreme as this. Everything literally, instantly started morphing, my hands, the bed, objects and where the bedroom walls were was distant Egyptian/Pre-Historic like scenery that went on a lot further than my bedroom walls.

With so little mg having been through my GVG since the last clean I'm just confused as to how this could have been such an intense trip, to the point I couldn't even have closed my eyes if I wanted to as I was in a trance with everything I could see because obviously it was only traces in my GVG, no leakage, I use a liquid pad so maybe just dmt from inside there Thumbs up

But wow such a strange substance, I start to think I'm getting the hang of all of this and learning about dmt, then another bunch of questions arise. Feeling great but slightly confused haha. It's like no 2 trips can be the same. Most have been very familiar, I usually enjoy the morphing and lego like experience with open eyes then consciously close my eyes and lie back and have a strange dream like thing happen but most have usually been the same. And I can always be unfocused or hear my surroundings. The usual visuals are everything lagging, only see the objects that are actually in my room looking very lego like, neat and extremely uniform. This time without even loading more dmt into the GVG I end up in some Egyptian land in my bedroom, with the usual high pitched noise but whilst my eyes are fully open and as much as I'm conscious I was so focused on my surroundings, I'm sure I spent the full trip amazed at everything.

Maybe I'm just looking for answers that aren't there yet as I'm still quite new to it. Maybe there must have just been more dmt hidden in the GVG around the liquid pad than I anticipated or something? Maybe my vaping technique isn't as good as I thought? This trip just seemed a lot more intense with regards to visuals and the control I had of my own body. So strange for a trip I never even loaded dmt in for lol. Maybe I've just got so much to learn, or a mix of them all? This opens up the question as why can the intensity of trips be so different on the same dosage? Every time makes me more curious.

One thing I can say is Ive had an overall positive energy after every trip, and hopefully I'll get something amazing and beneficial from the exciting substance in the future! Very happy I think the answer could be that this was just a more intense trip, everything still new experiences I guess Shocked

I can't say for sure how you got a stronger trip without adding anything additional, unless you had more spice residue embedded than you thought that had worked into the cracks-- if you saw a cloud, you got a lot of spice vaporized. It could have been collected on the underside of whatever hardware/screens you're using to vape off of perhaps.

And welcome, my friend-- you're starting to see how utterly immense this experience can be-- I'm very happy to see you're getting a proper feel for your GVG-- you will only get better at it from here. Seriously, the larger amounts (generally 30mg+) can get crazy intense.

The amount of times I've used DMT must number in the thousands over the past 15+ years, and I tell you, there's just no way to prepare for all you will see. The most important thing is to always do it when you feel centered to your inner self, and whether your approach is to enter the experience as a blank slate or with purposeful intention, the sights, feelings, and thoughts will be unique to you.

Thanks for sharing your experience here--

Yeah that looks like the only reason, dmt must have still been embedded into and around the liquid pad that I hadn't noticed, and in turn I ended up with a very intense trip that I wasn't expecting. And I'm definitely getting the hang of the GVG now thanks Thumbs up

The more I'm doing I'm without doubt learning a lot about the substance, but at the same time I'm realising I have so much more to learn every time. Very exciting that I genuinely feel that there could be no limits to what dmt could do, seem to just go with the flow now as most prior trips have went through much of the same steps, and then this trip happens and takes things to a whole new level.

I'll always be sensible with it though and do realise that every trip could be potentially different regardless of what amount, or what mood I've been in etc. Just seemed different than any other ones I've had because I never had the control or felt the want to lie back and close my eyes, probably due to it being a new experience that made me so engrossed in the visuals I was seeing. Sure this was just a stronger trip though and looking forward to what my future ones will show me!

Happy days though it was super exciting! Laughing

I haven't used that ROA, so I was waiting for someone with more experience, but that was my first guess.

The short time in between the hits there was probably a lot of DMT vapourised that was condensed on the glass edges, as happens with pipes, then with the second hit high temp vapour coming through, it could have freed some more up en route.

Possibly increased the surface area of the remaining crystals through heating first time allowed for more rapid/efficient vaporisation the second time.

I have been duped by not realising how much was left in the pipe before. It is a lesson to learn.

I was thinking about the possibility of burning the spice, which there are some reports of intense but not pleasant trips, but yours didn't seem to fit the description.

You may be ready to up the stakes, so to speak, only you can answer that.

DMT entered my life in December. From that point, I have not looked back and I feel it has taken me on a path I must follow. It has been transformative. I have said this many times, but I feel as if I have literally evolved as a human. Ultimately, my path has revealed its purpose and I am pursuing it with vigor.

I see DMT as a medicine for the spirit and soul. My average use is about five times a week. Which, I suppose can be viewed as excessive. Good thing I don't view it in this light. Five times a week works for me. This is about what is right for YOU.

The most important thing for me when I began my journey was that I must never, EVER have fear. Instead, the only thing to expect is the unexpected. In the beginning, you are a passive observer, navigating through new terrain and nothing, NOTHING can harm you. Sit back, enjoy the ride, even when it gets a bit bumpy, and even when you're flying at a trillion light-years a second. It's all good.

Normally, I sandwich mine with weed in a pipe. I have tried the glass pipe with little results. I know I'm doing it right. Still, I don't get much of a buzz. I tried putting it in a vape. Again, nothing. It's a bit frustrating because I know my method is generally wasteful.

That said, I'm careful not to melt it to oblivion and keep the flame away from the pipe. Usually, my first hit doesn't do much. Most likely, this has to do with the powder being absorbed into the weed. The second hit usually starts the ball rolling. The third really kicks it in. By the fourth hit, we have ignition. The fifth hit, blast off. Usually, I can keep myself together, even though I'm flying. It's essential to have a pipe that doesn't topple when you're not using it. I learned that lesson early on after my pipe fell over and the contents spilled out on the table and the floor. I still weep over the content I lost that day. Wink

It's clear that you see the potential of DMT and realize it has something profound to offer you. That's perfect. Realizing it has something to offer is the key to achieving this. Look at me. I realized it had a path for me to follow and it did. If you can't see the potential, you can't get the potential.

Peace.

Yes that's exactly it I was duped as to how much had actually been left in the pipe, the trip wasn't unpleasant by any means though, just a very big surprise that came fast and unexpected! My GVG looked fairly spotless around where the liquid pad is placed, but definitely had misty crystals all over the glass interior through out the full pipe.

Once the trip was finished I did have a look where the liquid pad is and could still see some slight residue of powder around the edges of the liquid pad, so I'm quite sure between that and some melting into the liquid pad and not making it though the other side then this satisfies enough as to the explanation! Regardless I feel much wiser, I'll be expecting the unexpected from now on! Laughing

Literally took the words out of my mouth, I've only started dmt about 6-8 weeks so far but has definitely helped me as a human being, and hopefully I'll really find a clearer purpose as time goes on. Every trip has always left me with a positive energy like feeling afterwards, sometimes struggle to remember the trips as sometimes have been left gobsmacked Surprised

Currently I'd say I'm about 3 or 4 times a week, usually just when the time is there and I have some peace and quiet and I'm free from disturbance. Yeah I can totally relate about being looked at as excessive, but the same I don't see it that way in the slightest, as said I'm responsible with it and realise the benefits and purpose of it, and don't just take it for the sake of getting high and tripping balls!

I've yet to try sandwiching it yet but sure I will in the near future and see how I get on. At first I definitely wasted a fair bit and went through it leaking through before I had the liquid pad (used 6 or 7 gauzes prior) but due to the nexus I've had some very helpful input and have my technique with the GVG much more on point. So I'm still learning and sure as time goes on I'm sure I can't start going backwards and getting worse at it Thumbs up

I'm lucky that the GVG has flat glass on the bottom so I can easily sit it on the unit next to me, which I never even realised until maybe the 5th time I used it Laughing I'm not quite at the stage of upping the dose too much at the moment as still want to get more used to it and do some research and learn a bit more, only ever managed a second toke so far, sometimes I'm in a different world with the ringing sounds and funny shapes before I've even exhaled and my mind doesn't feel just there to even attempt to take a second hit. Think I'm starting to enjoy it more if I'm alone, the first few times my girlfriend had been there just as a trip sitter so i could hand her the GVG and lighter after it. But I seem to get a lot more out of the trip when I'm alone and can focus without distraction. Even though she does stay quiet, a phone vibrating or whatever else can really interfere with my focus.

Precisely! It's all a massive journey of experiences and learning curves. From being someone that's never been as such a spiritual person, never having tried a psychedelic or that, to seeing such a potential from dmt is quite amazing, and just like you I look forward to my next experiences and the path that I'll be put on!

Thank you all for your replies, it feels very important and helpful to come on here and be able to talk to other like minded people whether for advice, research or just some basic chat! Thumbs up Smile

What a fantastic mindset you have, especially for someone new to psychedelics. You help confirm my suspicions about how the amount of new users is growing by the day. We are at the threshold of a new psychedelic revolution, I believe, like the 60's. The difference this time is, we are getting it right. DMT fulfills what Tim Leary claimed LSD would do, but never quite got there. DMT is the real deal.

The thing I found interesting is certain points and conclusions expressed in your comment are clearly a brand new insight that has emerged from your recent experiences. If you spoke about DMT before trying it, the words would be radically different from the words you used today. That, in itself, is quite profound. The best part is, there's more profundity awaiting you in other regards.

The memory issue was a tricky one for me, at first. In my early days, there were times I would "white-out", as I call it. A white-out is the opposite to blackout. When we blackout, we pass out. When we white out, we melt into the light. During one of my first trips, I was laying down on my back on my bed. The next thing I know, I am stood in the middle of the room and screaming, "WOW! WOW! WOOOOOOOOOW!" from the top of my lungs. No memory at all of how I got there. I was lost in the light and it is blinding, both visually and mentally.

So, I felt that was too much if it is all a blank. I needed to be at the point just before I would white out. It seemed to work after a bit of tweaking. I was able to achieve decent breakthroughs and recall parts of the journey with better clarity. Your live and learn attitude is spot on. You can only go forward with experience. You pretty much have it figured out.

Over time, I have seen the rainbow serpent and it's a breathtaking sight. I realized why it's called rainbow isn't to do with it having colour. Instead, it's like a living diamond. Diamonds, as you should know, reflect light like a prism. Hence, the rainbow.

I could relate countless experiences, each one is jaw-dropping. Some go well beyond mere coincidence and uncannily prove themselves after the experience with startling accuracy. I've been to places that have me weeping at the pure beauty I see. There have been alien landscapes that look familiar when I see them and I KNOW I have been there before. I have looked into my own face like I was facing a mirror. My reflection was made from light and I suddenly realized it was an entity imitating me.

I have looked into the face of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, also made of light, but not exactly like the light being I mentioned previously. It was a different light. She was a goddess or at least looked like one. At first, she stared into my eyes, with a blank expression, as if she was assessing me. Then, she smiled at me and her smile brought me pure joy. I have not only felt pure love, but I have touched it, tasted it like it was something tangible and light-years beyond a mere feeling. I describe the aftermath feeling as cathartic.

There have been corridors I have flown through, that are both inside the universe, yet is the universe. As I moved down the corridors, I could see pockets of realities, like it was an art gallery. Instead of paintings, it had windows into different parts of the multiverse. In some, time moved at hyper speed. In others, time was frozen. I have heard the music and resonating song of the multiverse that exists in all that is, ever was or will become. It sings across all of time, space, and other dimensions.

I regularly visit a place where interdimensional fractal beings exist and we have become friends. They vie for my attention when we encounter each other and constantly morph their shape and remind me of living Faberge Eggs. I now speak in an alien tongue I have yet to decipher and it flows out of me effortlessly in chants and song. I am now fluent in telepathy because some entities you encounter communicate to you. I no longer fear death and I am ready to ascend when I leave this mortal coil.

Since December, I have lived for millions of years. Every time I smoke DMT and visit my interdimensional friends, I am literally in two places at once. I have tried other hallucinogens over the years and none come close to DMT. Personally, I see other trips as something that opened my mind. DMT has expanded my mind. With trips, no two are alike. With DMT, there are consistent experiences that are repeated. You know in every fiber of your being that what you see on DMT is REAL, not a product of your imagination.

And, that is just the tip of my iceberg. Nothing is too weird with DMT. Instead, it's only different from what we're used to. The difference to the norm is what is weird. So, the weirdness is an illusion.

Peace.
DD.

Thank you for your kind words. I would definitely agree that more people are becoming involved in psychedelics, I personally don't know anyone else who actively uses psychedelics, especially dmt, but do know the usual who have used shrooms etc before, usually just once or twice. I think with the likes of it being publicised by Joe Rogan etc has helped the increase in people becoming involved and seeing the benefits that we can gain.

I completely agree, had I been replying before using dmt I would have had a completely different, possibly even naive response. The best words that have resonated for me would be to "expect the unexpected" and that no two trips should be expected to be the same, maybe similar characteristics, but even with the relatively low doses I've had experience with, I've already had the odd very unexpected/different experience happen. It's all part of my journey though so I'll embrace it and now with the flow.

Yes I'll keep learning as I go. Regarding memory I have some clear visions of what I've seen, generally when the trip has allowed me to sink into the bed with my eyes closed, and even though the images or scenes are so clear in my mind, I still seem to struggle to try and explain it to my partner Laughing . The way you have described a "white-out" seems to fit in with what happened the other night on the trip. Still awake and conscious, but my complete focus was in the trip, repeatedly stating wow with the amazement of an experience I've never had before.

It's great to hear some of your experiences and be able to think of the potential of my future experiences. Yes you're right, nothing can be too weird on dmt, just different from the norm. I'm very glad we have the nexus here anyway and I'll make the point to come on every while whether for assistance or insight! And I'm sure, more than likely after another "Wow" like trip, looking for an answer or explanation, or one insight rather!

Thanks again for your reply, take it easy!

Please allow me to expand your horizons early on, by strongly endorsing the introduction of harmalas into the experience. The super-cheap and convenient way is to use Syrian Rue seeds, which are dirt cheap and easily available. The common alternative is Caapi root, which is the common base for Ayahuasca. Both work extremely well on their own as revelatory plant teachers, but when combined with DMT they ascend to a new experience that's hard to put into words.

Harmalas, as an MAOI, can be gently introduced to lengthen and round out the experience-- in one of the most fantastic ways possible. They allow a slower, more complete absorption of DMT into the system than the spice is capable of alone by changing the rate of metabolism in the system.

The seeds can be very easily prepared by cooking in an oven @350F for 15 to 20 minutes, which nullifies most all of the unwanted chemical byproducts in the seeds so that they can then be ground to powder and taken orally either in capsules or mixed in with something like coconut milk, which allows them to be drunk without any real taste issues (though some dislike the taste more than others and can experience GI issues, cooking the seeds first dramatically reduces that side effect).

Look around the forum at others' experiences and see how profoundly synergistic they can be with the spice. It's really next-level-- I can't praise it highly enough.

Again, welcome to this special community, and thank you for offering your thoughts in such a complete and beneficial way to other travelers.

Instead of closing your eyes, try this. Place something over your eyes that cuts out the light, but allows you to keep your eyes open. You will find it's no different from closing your eyes. Somehow having your eyes open enhances the experience and makes it feel more real. This method is akin to wearing an Oculus Rift, only with infinitely better graphics.

Ahh brilliant, that sounds like it could be a great idea. I've only done a little research on them before, I noticed you said more about the likes of taking them as a drink or in capsules. When would the prepared Syrian Rue be taken if not being ingested through the pipe with the dmt and instead being taken with a drink or another way? Regarding the timeframe for it to start acting, like an hour before my dmt hit or in the morning for dmt at night?

As far as it goes I've only taken pure freebase dmt, and have heard of a lot of people talking about smoking Changa. Would the likes of Syrian Rue seeds be classed as Changa? Or a type of Changa mix? Or is Changa just a sort of blanket term for a special type of herbal mix to accompany your dmt crystals? Making it a little easier to smoke plus bringing some benefits to the table, like changing the metabolism rate and providing a more lengthened/rounded off experience?

Would Syrian Rue or whatever equivalent be something that could provide some great benefits, even when not used specifically for dmt? I had a quick read last night after reading your reply and sure I read about Syrian Rue even being used in the treatment for Parkinsons. It does sound like it could be a great thing for me to try and see if it could benefit my dmt experiences! I'm not naive at all to the fact I'm still very new and learning as I go, but yes my experiences can be very hard to remember or to try and explain to someone, very chopped up 10 minutes of time that seems to be very fast paced, or even slow paced whatever way you look at it, things lagging/appearing etc ... So I guess if it could round off or even slightly slow down and bring a new level of experience to me, I'm always open minded for knowledge and something new!

Definitely as time has went on I've started consciously keeping the room very dim, and have had a t shirt handy to throw over the eyes. I'm generally pretty well prepared before a trip as it tends to happen very fast, and there's nothing worse than not being able to focus enough, and having to find something to throw over my eyes mid-trip. I almost feel like the eyes open is more of just a visual experience so far, where as with my eyes closed, when I've had quite a deep/focused trip I've felt like there's been much more of a purpose, some of the things as hard as it is to describe, seem to have much more value and almost like my imagination has just completed taken over. And tends to give me a lot more to think about afterwards, which is a good thing, has me realising there can literally be no limits to dmt.

But then again, the topic of this post was an unexpected trip where my eyes were fully open the full time, possibly due to it being a new experience, accompanied with the excitement and "wow" factor it brought. So I wouldn't say that it wasn't purposeful as such as it had me up and amazed with the new experience, but definitely feel I get more benefits with my eyes closed with peace and quiet where I can sink into the bed! I'll never rule anything out though, and always keep an open mind as I do understand I've barely even scratched the surface of dmt so far, and very sure I'll have many amazing experiences as time goes on!

P.S Apologies I do tend to rabbit on a little, and wording has never been my strong point, I'm not an academical mess but pretty sure there's no academical genius hidden inside of me either Laughing

No need to apologise. You speak from the heart and I can relate. The one thing you'll never see in this forum is, TL;DR, which is probably the most ignorant and egocentric comment a person can make in a forum. If you can't be bothered to read something, then why feel the need to say this? I blame texting, it's taken away people's attention span.

The important thing is, the experience is on YOUR terms. If you want to close your eyes, then close them. If you want to wear a clown outfit when you are on DMT, then that is hilarious! Send me photos. Set and setting is important, that's for certain. I have had some nice sessions in the bath. The warmth of the water feels amazing and feels like I'm being hugged. So, whatever makes your boat float. That said, not tried it on a boat yet. Wink

Peace.

Exactly my thoughts! Just had one 15 minutes ago, another seriously fast paced 10 minutes or so. This time even more so, I put the pipe down, straight away tried to lie back, but was far too intense with the ringing and everything else going on and had to just get up and ride it out. I can say my window and the neighbours roughcast will never look the same again!

I'm still struggling to remember what actually happened, time and space are so altered to even describe and there's so much working inside my head at 1000mph. I noticed this time, I seemed to sweat so much during it, I was pretty out of reality but remember squeezing my hands down my face to almost try and push the sweat away. As far as I'm aware I was sweating but I doubt to that extent because my t-shirt seemed to be pretty dry when I came back round. The weather was decent today, up about 20 degrees so it has been hotter than the usual today. Sure that's a decent reason.

It was very dim but could still see some clear visuals, the problem is that there was so much happening at the one time for me to get a clear enough memory of them. All the stationary objects already in the room plus whatever dmt brings me. I can only really take from it what I think looked like two sort of hindu/aztec woman at each bed post, a species of reptile sitting on a pillow while the pillows are breathing and and lots of different coloured lines and blurs etc. There was so much more but can't remember that much, I'm pretty sure that at the time I wasn't too focused on any specific visual for long enough to even process it. Nevertheless another new experience. I'm starting to realise every trip is literally a new experience!

Wow I've never really thought about anything like that, I get it though it is like your in a well armoured bubble! For now I'll stick to where the bed is and gain a bit of experience and wisdom, I just look forward to all the different options and benefits. Could totally see how the clown outfit could be a laugh Laughing Maybe take the mirror down just incase though haha. But yes, was a good new bit of experience tonight!

Feel I've started to really understand everything so much more over the last weeks trips and using the dmt-nexus, I've been gaining a lot of knowledge and feel I've been able to step it up a bit with confidence and curiosity, I value everything you's on here have said and have taken the time to reply, is appreciated a lot!
