It is surprisingly difficult to easily find an answer on whether or not vaped DMT is dangerous to a person with epilepsy/seizure disorder. The person in question has fairly regular seizures, often resulting in full unconsciousness. I'm not sure about her medications other than a long acting benzo called 'omfey'(sp??) which she honestly isn't managing very well.

Most of the info I'm coming across compares the experiences of DMT with seizures, which I'm not interested in. I'm wondering whether or not i should acquiesce to a request, and if not, would like good information to point her to as reasoning for doing so.

Thanks, maybe my search skills are lacking. I can provide more info if necessary.

I'd like to point you and your friend toward AmanitaDreamer - she has really connected with the Amanita mushroom as a medicine and specifically talks about coming off Benzodiazepines (and other pharmaceuticals) to transition to modest Amanita doses. To paraphrase her own experience, Amanita can clear the way from drugs like Benzodiazepines to open up beneficial access to other natural medicines such as psychedelics.

Re: DMT for your friend, my own advice would be that she really needs to regulate and get her pharma medicine under control before even considering a very modest dose of DMT. She needs to be really patient with herself.

Thank you for this. IDK how dependant she is on benzos, but I do know too many people that are. I struggled with an addiction to them as well, and I think they are the invisible quotient in the opiate crisis that isn't getting the attention it deserves. Those drugs are, in my opinion, the most insidious ones out there and are notoriously difficult and dangerous to taper off due to serious withdrawal dangers. It would be wonderful if there was a viable way to assist folks out of dependancy with a non-addictive substance, if that's the case. I'll look into those vids.

Voted up for promotion, btw!

EDIT: I'm pretty trepidatious towards YouTube psychedelic enthusiasts, but I'm about ten minutes into the most recent one you posted, and i like what she is saying. Also really like her accent, ha!

Welcome in!

Thumbs up

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
