Hi Guys,
I wanted to share my recent yield of san pedro resin that was retrieved by cooking chunks of cactus along with the white flesh (no core) in a rice cooker. It was cooked for about an hour or so on the highest setting, the chunks were then removed with a sieve, and the water boiled down until it fit into a shot glass.
I unfortunately accidentally burned some of the resin as I was not paying attention to the cooker so I attempted to scrape this into another container and dry it separately. Some of this burned residue was left in my shot glass and I let it sit overnight so that they would gather in the bottom and then poured it off into a larger bowl to further evaporate in front of a hot fan.
What resulted was a very satisfying brown resin that smells very sweet and looks like honey. Upon scraping the resin, it turned to a creamy colour as it was getting mixed (why is that?). I completely forgot to weigh it but below are the results of the first boil.
Also, Is it possible to separate some of the mescaline from this resin with acetone? I just have acetone and limonene and no access to MEK atm. Last time my experience was very unpleasant with heavy sedation and little visuals so I would like to try purer mescaline.
