Hey clop, i feel pretty dumb, being one of those that didn't understand your OP. I was operating an the assumption that you had engaged with a psychedelic and it messed you up.
I was not familiar with leo gupta until yesterday, when the podcast linked here fell into my feed. There discussion is regarding the irresponsible nature of leo's practice and directly confronts some of the things that caused these thoughts.
Ugh, it makes me even angrier at these self-appointed, self-aggrandizing gurus that you got a head full of his (sorry, y'all) bullshit, and almost hurt yourself because of it. He needs to be held accountable, just like any number of fools in our midst.
The psychedelics community is failing miserably in the self-policing category if you ask me.
Take a listen, i can't speak to anything about the guys who are talking, but they seem pretty on point with this, although they clearly are very much bought into a Gaia-TV, new-age 'woke' version of psyychedelia, which is another matter entirely.
Psychedelics are quite the hip fad right now, and alot (all) of these concepts floating around, from ayahuasca being traditionally used for spiritual healing visionary sessions by anyone other than the medicine person themselves to the dangerously evolved weaponized hippie rainbow child rhetoric spewn out by people like this leo guy.
Oh man, i could rant forever. That you even have these questions is a huge failure of harm reduction in the community. For every idiot like leo, there should be a rational counterpoint. There aren't a lot of resources for those trying to learn about psyychedelics (save this forum and a couple others) free from someone's psuedo-religious views, or misinformation peddled by entertainers.
We obviously missed each other in chat, what was that, last weekend? It's Saturday now, I'll take you up on that offer put forth a few posts in just a bit here....
Be good to to, glad to see your still out there resisting.
EDIT: OOPS,
here is that video podcast on leoEDIT 2, plus this leo guy was not talking about n,n DMT. He is promoting a 30-day 5meo DMT thing, with increasing doses daily. That makes it exponentially worse.
