Do you get the mesh slightly red ? It should for sure not be glowing red, that's way too hot

If you can provide details of the set up and settings I'll try to help out.

Don't put the tube all the way down, same with the top cap.
This is for extra height so the mesh don't touch the top cap,or you will burn your crystals.

Check the mesh glowing color with and without the top cap on. As thenabu says, it might be too hot.

Report back with details if it doesn't work out.

I have a VV 2. I couldnt even hit it last time I think that's from not having a clean mesh in but even when i've done it with clean mesh I can inhale but not even keep the hit in. It makes me question if my extraction is proper and what not but I even tried it after doing a re-x and had same results. Considering getting some professional extracted to eliminate that variable but I don't quite believe that's the issue.

I also tried not going down to the second o-ring as well. I have a small metal mouth piece attachment that adds an extra inch. But I feel like I need water filteration and an ice cube its so harsh to me lol.

Your settings are rather low, so I don't think you burn it with the configuration.

Vaping with E-mesh is as smooth as the gvg if done right.

How does it look with the cap on in a dark room? Do you see a dark red glow? At what wattage does the mod stabilise when pressing the fire button.?

Maybe it's about time to stop comparing against a 20-yr old (broken/unrevised) GVG concept...

The gvg has been used as a reference for a reason, it has been one of the most effective and most used devices for vaping dmt crystals for a long time.

IMHO it is reasonable to compare other devices and setups to the gvg according to flavor, efficiency - amount dmt for bt, and possibility for 1 hit breakthrough.

Vandy vape mesh v2 - fitted mesh setup with glass.

I have done some experiments with extra glassware extensions on the tube, which seems to work well.

Outside the metal tube there is a replacement glass for smok v9 max tank. This glass is fitted on the outside of the tube, covering the top row of airflow holes, to avoid too much air.

On top of this glass, I have glued a 24/40 glass fitting.

It is not as stealthy with the glass gear, but a lot cooler vapor, and easy to handle in bed.

Doesnt really taste burnt, issue is im a noob and this is my first time of any method of administration as well as first time extracting lol. I had it set to glow lightly like in your video ill check where it stabilizes it, I brought a 510 glass attachment like you showed. Issue is normal ebay.com for the states doesnt have the mesh that you talked about, been difficult to find to make the fitted.

So at which wattage does it stabilise? It should not glow brightly. At all.

And IMO it is quite subjective just to assume it stops being the best once its concept has been continuously enhanced through many years of revision. Always sharing progress while inviting DUPLICATION & PEER REVIEWS in the process...


P.S.:

What's most frustrating with this present thread title is when each new entry causing yet another reference to the VaporGenie pipe to pop shall actually fail to be anything close to the VaporGenie at all, starting with heat vectors (the GVG is based on convective heat).

I find it logical to compare different administration methods to each other, efficiency, ease of use etc.

As you say, the gvg is old and also probably one of the most used devices for dmt over the years. Imho it makes a good reference for that very reason. It is also a pretty effective device.

I have altered the title to a shorter more precise one.

I welcome any suggestions to get the thread better in quality.
