Hello there,

I will go straight to the information. 4 years back, we (5 people) found 2 dozens of magic mushrooms and never felt anything and we don't know anything much about magic mushrooms unless reading here and there. We thought what we got maybe not the actual shrooms as there are barely any noticeable effects because of low dosage we took.

6 months later we researched LSD and it was life changing. There was no one who knew or took before and we had a life changing trip and some people call it bad trip. The most mesmerizing thing is, after 20 mins of taking LSD, we all connected and remembered the magic mushroom trip, we knew now that magic mushrooms were real and we couldn't notice any effects. The first lsd effects and magic mushroom consciousness connected.

Then found few local lysergic acid and got answers to few of my questions in 6 months. In this 1 year, I had life changing experiences mostly in my life and due to society and I had my lessons.

Now I am in peace, seems I know little and want to share and gain more knowledge and also want to spread the knowledge I gained if there is any.

So, we live in village now and there seems around 3-5 confirmed DMT plants. I want to make a thread/topic about the species I found and need guidence on extraction. Hopefully someone will promote me, so I can start the extraction process. I am so new for extraction and read lot and need lot of confirmations and I feel you people can solve them easily. The tree I found nearby is Acacia caesia. In next message and if you are all interested, I will take pics of the tree, so you can all confirm.

Hoping a positive journey here after registration.

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

You can easily test possible presence of an alkaloid with color reagent.

First prepare a sample by e.g. soaking dried powdered plant material in a small amount alcohol with a drop of ammonia added in (this is to ensure alkaloids are in freebase form as they are naturaly salts and different salts may give different color results.

Drop your alcoholic extract sample on a white porcelain dish or soak it in an acid-free paper, then let the alcohol evaporate and drop your reagent on it.

EHRLICH reagent (also used for LSD) dyes purple in presence of indoles. Then you know there are indole alkaloids (DMT is one of them).

HOFMANN reagent will dyes yellow in presence of DMT, green in presence of 5-MeO-DMT, orange in presence of gramine.

Reagent test is not confirmative. A better way is to run TLC on your sample, then spray the plates with above reagents (or more to see presence of other suspicious compounds).

Finally, if there is strong suspicion on the presence of DMT, you may try extraction.

There are many alkaloids similar to DMT (e.g. tryptamines, beta-carbolines...) and some are toxic (e.g. gramine) or may make you feel sick (e.g. bufotenine). It is important to identify the compound/extract first.

Welcome thedoer

I’m sure you will find this place very useful and knowledgeable on all things psychedelic. In time you will be promoted and have the ability to contribute across all forums. But I would suggest to start that process by reading the attitude page. You will see that you should remove your sourcing mentions from your post. We don’t buy things around here, we find them. 😉

Thank you Blue Magic, I am not getting the basic substances like sodium chloride and other common things here, it would be very hard to get reagents and I need to research more if I can prepare on my own.

Agreed Metta Morpheus, should have been careful for quickly putting the words, I have corrected. We show lot of respect for the nature particles here, but few people who live in real world, don't know the importance and are abusing it. I told them that these are not joke and atleast few people shown respect after I shared my opinion to them, or the outside world are just treating them as party drugs unaware of what's happening.

I should post images and videos of 2 plants today, it would be great if anyone can confirm if that's the right plant. From my research, they seems correct. They are acacia family.

I don't know if posting links is fine or not but I am trying to follow this guide on extracting. If I follow this guide correctly. Can we extract successfully?
