I sometimes wonder if Hiëronymus Bosch ever indulged in the consumption of psychedelic substances..

I wonder what it would be like to trip in the fifteenth century..

I bet he did. And not only he. I assume most artists did. What they created is far too close to trip visuals than they could make up themselves.

Don’t think there is much difference in tripping now or in those days. The experience is the same but due to the religious belief in those days I guess they gave a different meaning to it.
