I have been exploring estrogens since the 80's. In 1992 inspired by William Burroughs I set off for South America where Ivwas successful in my search. Also did extensive work with San Pedro, psilocybin, and recently Peyote. Then in 1993 I met Terence Mckenna who became a friend, mentor and teacher. I took part in the Palenque seminars close to the beginning, with Terence, Jonathon Ott, Paul Staments as well as others.
I have worked extensively with DMT from plant sources which I find preferable to the synthetic DMT, though not avers to working with that.
Back in 1994, we were focusing on canary grass which has proven more complicated.
What my main interest at this time is a North Anerican DMT contains plant which preferably can be grown in New England. If that has not been worked out then another North Anerican Plant that contains DMT, which is not to complex to extract, though I have connection with Organic Chemists, do even if more complicated, may be able to work it out.
My concern with sacred plants from the Amazon is Ayahuasca tourism, which I feel is a danger to the Amazon and the survival if these plants. It also creates opportunities for those with not outer motivations, to exploit others for profit. This I see as great threat to the Amazon, as well as the Chinese government which putting Ecuador in debt, have forced the government of Ecuadorto allow vast tracts of the Amazon to be opened up tool drilling, which will be catastrophe for the Anazon, so I think a Notmrth Anerican analogue critical for the long term and protection of the Amazon.
In raising a family I had to pull back from my studies and research, but now have time to continue where I left off under Terence's guidance in the 90's.
So I am not up on latest research of DMT containing plants in North America or if any exist naturally in New England. I plan to reach out to Dennis McKenna and others from the past who were key figures in this movement who I came blessed to know.
But I am sure on this forum are others with more experience than I who can answer my questions. Rick Strassmam, Dennis and others are busy doing critical work. I would prefer to not take up their time because so many reach out to them, I will only contact them if absolutely necessary.
So I guess this is my introductory essay. I hope I posted on the right place, if not not please let me know, do I can follow protocol if forum. Also having trouble finding questionnaire. As time has passed, and the internet has not become the dream Terence and I hoped, I have become less savvy with technology. So please help if I am posting in wrong place.
