I've read conflicting reports on the activity of Acacia confusa phyllodes.
Does anyone have any relevant experience / analytical results pertaining to potency (subjective or otherwise)?
Mahalo in advance.

Not sure if you've already seen this, sounds like what your looking for.🤙🏽 That thread has bark and root data, but not phyllodes.

My 3 year old (maybe it's 4 by now? not sure) doesn't have very spicey leaves upon burning and smelling it. There's probably some in there but I haven't investigated the fallen phyllodes this year, in brew form. My narrow phyllode acuminata that's only turning 1 this year has a spicey smell upon burning. That tree is a keeper. Even survived down to 16F this year with wind protection.
If you're looking for something to start growing I'd go with the narrow phyllode acuminata, but if you have confusa phyllodes handy give it a shot, I'd say.
Edit: If you're in Hawaii, you could have good luck collecting some twigs and small branches from adult trees. You don't have to mess with the roots at all for sure, as that can easily kill Acacia trees.

Your right, my bad, that had info for stem and roots for confusa. Not sure what island you stay, but A Confusa is Everywhere on Oahu. Im considering what Kerelsk mentioned, load a backpak up with some fleshly fallen twigs/branches, or take some clippings from some older trees. If yeilds are even .5% thats a beautiful thing for no work.
