Hey Fran, how important do you find this to be? I've met some people who are strongly of the opinion that one should follow a "dieta" and others who say they've done so and it's made no impact at all.

Can you let me know specifically what has worked for you? Be much appreciated Love

the diet is the first medicine, the sacred medicine the second. Everything is just common sense. What do you eat when you wish to eat lightly? Some unprocessed bread, some rice or grains, fruits, and vegetables, and various teas (which teas? Each plant tea is an ancient medicine, the only reason we know of them is cause the have been passed down. When conquistadors or travellers reach a new land, they ask the people about the plants they use, so there are many)

I've only been exploring DMT since December 2019, when I did ayahuasca for the first time. Since then I have been doing ayahuasca weekly, until a few weeks ago.

The feeling or calling to do it just left me. Thats the only way I can explain it. No logical reason or thought out process. Just a feeling (or perhaps the lack of one).

That said, I have a date planned in the near future when I will be travelling again.

Perhaps following the next journey my feelings may change again!

Thanks, OliverJ!

I get that, totally Smile

oh, I couldnt smoke dmt even if I wanted to Very happy I got what I went for. It established in me. I now practice meditation and yoga and drinking teas and I get psychedelic, but its always just some tokes, a microdose or shrooms. I dont aim for a breakthrough trip, or even a vision trip...I cant leave myself so much, i am very vulnerable. It would demolish me. I am so sensitive I feel like I am outside my body manyntimes. I have visions all day without dmt. I know its crazy but its not what you think, its nice and good. I get a kick out of it Razz Anyway thats why I embrace your courage. You are really going out there into the frontiers, you are getting the visions, decoding the message, experiencing that love haha but thats so cool! You are very fortunate. It takes balls. Its strong medicine. Its good that the medicine exists, it will always be available, it is born of the earth as we are. But I think its amazing how all things come to pass. There is only consciousness, you always return to your self, to silence, emptiness...you are always your same consciousness from the day you were born to now, its just that ideas and perspectives and emotions and habits change, but the stream of consciousness is really supreme. Its firm, present. The seasons...Impermanence.

thanks, FranLover!

In my case, cause of a break is that after my last most, hmm, intense BT I realized I can't really let it go. I realized I am a player of games, I like games and I like to play them. I am deep into- and not ready to let go of this most interesting game called "life" yet.

I loved sub-BT experiences I had (now I can call them "recreational" ) and if I had 100% reliable way of having them with spice I'd probably continue.
But just as you start to think you are in control with spice, you are not in control and you might buy more than you paid for Smile

That's why I resorted to careful experiments and therapy with more gentle and slow substances.

However, just as dreamer042 said, the ringer is not turned off for me. I've recently helped friend with extraction and have 1g of spice just laying there waiting for its time. It will be oral ROA this time most likely.

When the time is right Smile

Oh, that's super interesting! I love the fact that you use that term, "games". I am myself at a point of my life where I believe less and less in the game. And I must admit that it feels good.

Can't you get sub-BT experiences just by setting up a lower dosage, tho?

Since writing this I have had two incredible breakthrough experiences!! Both times- 25 mg harmala freebase smoked in a rolled cigarette, followed by 40 mg in gvg. Incredible morphing geometry! Alien hieroglyphs! Benevolent loving entities! I witnessed the big bang and the birth of planets! Instruction in the worship of that which is eternal!! THIS is why I smoalk this stuff. I will smoalk moar!

Hey Tony6Strings! Thanks for sharing!

it appears that France, where I live, might be the toughest country on harmala... unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll be able to get a hold of some.

Anyway, question: how many tokes do you need to get 40mg with the gvg? thanks!

With a gvg and torch lighter, you can vape 40 mg or more (most I've done at once is 50) in one inhalation. This is one of the things I love about this pipe. One big hit and you are on your way.

Edit: Also, if you can get hold of root bark you can prolly also get hold of rue seeds!

I consider everything to be a game, we just tend to take our games more and more seriously with age. DMT shows how silly our "serious" really is. It definitely feels good to take some parts of the game less seriously Smile

Sub-BT with lower dosage: in short yet, but with some long-term usage reverse tolerance kicks in and then you are in for some surprise rides. I feel comfortable with strong experiences which slowly set in, but with freebase vaping it's can be too traumatic I think.

Exactly! Everything is a game! What matters is, in a way, how much you're willing to bet on said game. If you look at it with a distant smile, then you're good Smile

It's probably healthy to find ways to take the game less seriously. In a way, it's what my first post was about: you know, it's like, the DMT had become a game in itself, a game I was involved too seriously. If you start to think "omg, this is the truth", then, you're in a trap (not to say it's impossible to get out of it, tho)

So yeah, I guess I wanna do DMT only when I feel like it would be a bonus, not when it feels like something "serious".

I had never heard of "reverse tolerance"... do you experience it with other drugs?

Agree here. Over time & experience that reverse tolerance will getcha. That switch gets flipped.

I couldn't have put it better.

Sometimes I'm not even sure I've received a message, but something in the back of my mind always tells me when a break is needed, or I don't feel there is a need to go further.
