Hi fellow travelers,

I am fairly new to the hyperspace. I initially turned to psychedelics because I had managed to get my life and myself into a dead end both emotionally and in practice, and didn't know what else to do. Basically I was living life doing things that were very much against my values, and was suffering of it a great deal. Consequently my family was suffering too. I also have a genetic tendency to an alcohol problem, which I was actively cultivating as best as I could. Wut? That too had already become a serious problem in my life.

Luckily I have a close friend who is very experienced with psychedelics and after I had proven I was serious by putting a lot of effort into travel preparation, he offered to help me. Long story short, DMT has helped me tremendously and my life hasn't been the same since. As a sensitive person with a very full life I'm still often exhausted, but at least I am no longer actively sabotaging myself.

I am in my thirties, work an executive level job (yep Big grin ) and live a pretty normal-looking life. I also have several children with my partner, and they of course keep our life very busy. My partner is extremely supportive of my psychedelic journey, although not that interested in exploring himself. He sees the positive effect it has had on my mood and well-being in general, and supports me every step of the way.

So far I've only (successfully) smoked FB DMT a handful of times. I'm more of an Ayahuasca gal, but the life I live does not allow me to do ceremonies very often. Therefore I have recently done my own MHRB extraction with pretty nice yields, and have been experimenting with a few different vapes.

My goals with the spirit molecule are purely therapeutic. During my journey I have grown curious about the hyperspace, but to be honest the possibility of an actual proper FB breakthrough scares me quite a bit. I have never done other psychedelics apart from DMT, but let's see where I end up after looking more into the topic at the Nexus.

PS: I only discovered the super useful Open Hyperspace Traveler after I took the questionnaire, so my answers were solely based on my own experiences, some Nexus reading, and googling. Please forgive me! Embarrased

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Many thanks! I believe mushrooms would be great, but I don't really have access to them.

You can consider cultivating them yourself. I’ve successfully done it in the past with zero prior experience and no one able to help that I know personally. With kids around and space which may or may not be limited, it certainly might not be an option, so foraging is a possibility, depending on the time of year and region in which you live.

There is a section here dedicated to psilocybin cultivation but not nearly extensive as other online resources like the Shroomery. I find cultivating mushrooms cathartic and extremely rewarding. Oh, and once you get the hang of it, you can grow edible mushrooms for the family!

Welcome to the nexus!

Shroomery is great for grow info, the hobby is truly amazing and can be quite therapeutic also.

The therapy of cultivation is incredible. When you're successful, it pays dividends. When you're not successful, you learn and try again. The process is so cathartic. I never knew how much I would love the process as I was always so focused on the end result. This is truly an example of "Life is a journey, not a destination".

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I would gladly do this since I am so much more comfortable ingesting something that I’ve extracted/grown myself, but unfortunately it’s like you say. I don’t really have a suitable space where children wouldn’t have access to. Sad

But I’ll think about this, maybe I’ll find a way after all.

Thank you! I definitely need to see if it would be possible for me. I’ve grown quite interested.
