Good day/evening, all, wherever you may live!

I'm quite excited to join this community and to be able to give back as much as I've been able to receive. As a somewhat inexperienced DMT user, I hope my personal experiences outside of DMT can help in ways beyond what the tenured users are able to contribute. I took my first hit of LSD I think 24 years ago (gah, has it been that long?!), first ate mushrooms around 22 years ago, and took countless exceptionally massive doses of pure DXM powder (many up to 1g) - for probably way too long.

I wouldn't necessarily consider myself a psychonaut per se, but I have years of experience. Psychedelics are my absolute favorite drugs/compounds for sure and I've always wanted an experience that DMT can provide but up until about 10-15 years ago, I had never really heard of DMT. Aside from it's name even about five years ago, I knew nothing about it. I was out of the psychedelics game for a while due to a lifestyle that separated me from any close sources, unless I was at a festival.

Anyway, I have typed up a wall of text I'd like to put up as a post after being recognized as a member. It's the story of my first night with DMT. I consider it quite a story but maybe not for the reasons you'd expect. I'd like to hear some perspective when I can post outside of the New Members area.

Thanks! I look forward to interacting with you all, here and in the forums!

Maybe post your story first in introduction section? Wink
What comes first - becoming a member or sharing your story? It's like chicken and egg hehe Smile

What a good quote from Marcus Aurelius in your signature, what a good book Meditations is

I’m certainly not opposed to it. I didn’t want to mix my Intro and first evening with DMT as I wasn’t sure if the two belonged together. At the time, I was also under the impression I wasn’t able to create topics but I’ll happily do it. I have a few errands to run today but I’ll gladly do it later this evening.

Thank you! It seemed to fit just right. The Stoics and their philosophy have long been a part of my life.
