Recently was pondering how awesome it would be to make some organic additive free Coca Kola with just Coca, Kola, Sugar and Seltzer.
Anyone ever done this?

What is kola? I didn’t know that was an ingredient. “You think that’s air you’re breathing?” -Morpheus “Whoa fellas, I’m feeling kinda bowling ball-ish.” -Leopold Butters Stoch It’s got what plants crave. -Brawndo

Not exactly but I did atincture with coca and cola nitida. I would do some if I had theingredient again. thething is coca isn't really active in tea. better to chew it or make a tincture ( alcoholic tincture ). Otherwise could try also to ferment this. the probiotic could make it more bioavailable. Smell like tea n,n spirit !

Someone I know is addicted to coca-cola and I want to make them 1 liter of some real organic stuff to show them how different it would be from the chemical garbage they buy at the store. I dont think they use real coca or kola in the store drinks these days...

There are some organic cola-brands. I don't remember the name, but i've had some pretty decent organic cola once. The only real difference was that some stuff would precipitate if you let it sit for a while.

Yeah I second this, ime the tea isn't active at doses quiding or chewing the leaves is so I've considered the oral route a wasteful way to make use of a given quantity of coca leaf. Buccal administration with 2 pinches of alkali (e.g. bicarb) is the way to go especially if you're goal is to obtain a brief period of euphoric energy which would make the caffeine in the kola nut pretty much useless imo. Disclaimer: IME from what I've view'd on the internet is that these leaves are considered a 100% harmless substance that's to be thought of something like a coffee rather than a drug of abuse. After working with these leaves a fair amount I'd have to disagree with various online claims. Now don't get me wrong, these leaves are bloody AMAZING but you have to remember that the effect you get from these leaves is produced by no other alkaloid than cocaine. So like cocaine expect a craving that comes after the effects begin to wane and expect an anxiety ridden crash that comes with compulsive chain like dosing. However since the dose of cocaine received is a little lower and the ROA a little slower the side effects received won't be nearly as pronounced as railing lines but still present nonetheless. Now having said all that, quiding coca leaf right after finishing coffee (can't speak for kola) is aaaammmaazing! too much energy

Coca is actually still part of the coca cola recipe, they import several thousand tons of leaf each year. The cocaine is removed and supplies the legal schedule 2 medical use and the de-cocanized extract is used in flavoring the cola. There are quite a few organic brands available in most grocery stores these days. Blue Sky cola and Hansen's cola are two I can think of off the top of my head. As rOm said, fermentation is the trick here if you wanna go homemade. Coca leaf and Kola nut Kombucha would make a mighty fine healthy replacement for commercial carbonated sugar bombs.
