Whether due to technique or MHRB source, I generally need to do a couple of re-xs to get a cleanish product and my method is to decant the DMT containing solvent off, leaving oils etc in the brown/yellow goop at the bottom of the container.
Recently I decided to do a sodium carbonate wash on some spice that had been laying around and gone a bit yellow. I was surprised to find a substantial amount of the same goo remaining when dissolving the product despite it being cleaned up a couple of times previously with re-x.
1) Seems to lead to the conclusion that the lion's share of the goo I'm seeing this time round is DMT oxide. Can anyone with chemistry skills beyond 101 comment?
2) Is DMT oxide significantly less soluble in NPS than plain old DMT?
Thanks
