I've witnessed a fluro green pull, I wondered if it was rust inhibitors but apparently the naptha used is a known brand and has no mention of such things in the MSDS.

The thing I'm not sure about is the plant material, instead of MHRB I believe Acacia Acuminata was used I'm unsure if this would make a difference.

The crystals have not yet formed, these observations are purely from the naptha pulled after a tek which looked to me very much like Cyb's was followed.

If the crystals don't come out a familiar colour as I suspect they will not, I'm hoping to see what will happen when a re-crystallisation is performed, would this be worth waiting around for or should I just assume the attempt was unrecoverable and carry on with my wanderings?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Sorry for bump but I have indeed experienced this. When working with Acuminata phyllodes, I once produced green pulls and green crystals. I'm not sure whether it was plant oils, chlorophyll or what, but they were beautiful!

Chlorophyll.
Easily worked around.
Once you've done your acid boils, filtered and reduced, just wash the aqueous phase with an organic solvent a couple of times and discard the organic washes. Then continue on.

Chlorophyll will fluoresce blood-red under a standard 'blacklight', if you want to check that out.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
