Salutations,
IMO there are multiple ways to
VILIFY cannabis:
* Consumption Method & Ritual, shaping the acquisition of a habit profile.
* Genetic Selection, extreme THC:CBD ratios separating sinful from worthy.
* Industrial-grade Processing, "Tumbling", chemicals & secret ingredients. For example the cigarette/"joint" format sacrifices noble cannabic substances just to conveniently keep a fire alive, much as if it were vile charcoal, which is a mediocre trade-off also involving economical stress on top of exposing to self-poisoning from combustion...
Ancient civilisations slowly perfected genetic selection using natural agriculture practices initially, in days when the only obvious sign of instant success was THC. Then bigot anti-cannabic prohibitionism installed socio-toxic dynamics boosting the drive towards THC-centric "fidelization" of unsuspecting/vulnerable individuals for mercantile purposes - which remains a reality in Québec's "legal" SQdC stores today and quite probably elsewhere as well. Hence this boils down to hypocrytical "elite" attitudes, as if extremes were supposed to auto-magically translate into normality somehow. Not to mention a failure to integrate CBD + "entourage effects" while rejecting Victorian-age ideology.
In addition it turns out a special gift of Nature resides in cannabis female flowers: their trichome glands biologically "filter" precious noble substances on a molecular basis at the site of genesis, collecting them separately from a vegetal substrate, above a capillary stem inviting the most cost-efficient purist harvest imaginable - and yet all to often it gets contaminated simply to serve greedy markets instead. With recent "vaping deaths" in USA imposing themselves as a striking illustration.
Of course the environment carries more vilification vectors of its own. Insiders of a sub-culture (which "Légaleezation" now attempts to erase...) find themselves irresistibly drawn towards consumption abuse as a ~300 mg "joint" lacks basic "Metered Dosing" features and more often than not an average smoker shall just finish it, considering it's not worth the waste to extinguish then light up again more than a couple times anyway. Yet, in comparison my ~125 mg vaporist bowl can be made to generate ~5 healthwise tokes essentially free of such wasting, equally allowing me to ride the Tolerance Barrier instead of aiming for solid "T-Breaks", which in turn spares me from a roller-coaster model that i believe to promote habit disorders blatantly designated as "ADDICTION" by enemies who call me a "stoner"/"droÿé".
Last but not least, i'd want to raise the matter of how humans learn new skills via trial & error, essentially. Personally i consider that as a young man i entered this game with a bad hand, so to speak, because my consumption method was wrong, the genetic selection was wrong and hence further acquisition of a new habit went wrong too, quite predictably.
Back then there was no internet to help us reflect on what we were doing and much less long-term implications, while the science of materials wasn't as advanced until decades later when Dan Steinberg chose space-age SiC Foam to design his VaporGenie pipes, only a couple years after the Y2K bug... Etc., etc.
Briefly put there's a real opportunity to choose a much better future for yourself, just learn to recognize vilification factors kind of early then try to avoid these before you're at risk to develop some failed habit eventually leading to total abstainance from all cannabis consumption. Think of it as of the speed of sound when airplanes crashed before reaching Mach1, abuse may be fun once in a while but there happens to be potential enlightment awaiting @ Mach 2! At that point though it's crucial to realize that cannabis only helps to find a path while its the consumer himself who performs the walking.
M'well, that's how i'd depict the whole scene anyway.
Good day, have fun!!
