Not necessary to have any diet on changa either (the pharmaceutical interaction is still a risk so do not smoke changa if you're consuming amphetamines or anti depressants or similar)

OK, so I should definitely don´t smoke Changa while using "Mirtazapine 30mg" !??
I hoped the small amount of smoked MAOIs in Changa doesn´t interact harmful with the Mirtazapine, because it is not a classic SSRI as far as I know, what makes it a little bit confusing for me.
I am still not sure.

Does anybody have experience with the combination of Mirtazapine and Changa?

Corpus Callosum might be able to give you some better medical feedback on this but, cant you, for the sake of safety, skip changa and smoke freebase dmt instead?

Edit: Simple wikipedia check turns this up:

The potential for dangerous drug interactions with mirtazapine is considered to be very low, if not completely negligible. As a serotonin receptor antagonist, mirtazapine will not cause serotonin syndrome at any dose, nor is it capable of causing tyramine-induced hypertensive crisis, unlike the SSRIs and MAOIs, respectively. In fact, mirtazapine can actually be used to treat serotonin syndrome.[49] However, mirtazapine is said to be an indirect agonist of the 5-HT1A receptor, which can contribute to serotonin syndrome when combined with other serotonergic drugs.[50]

Kind of weird though, because the last sentence seems in direct contradiction with what is said before.. I would avoid it just in case. Lets see of Corpus Callosum can give his feedback here..

there is no such thing as an "maoi diet" when it comes to ayahuasca..White people made all that crap up. Natives in the amazon drink coffee and eat tyramine containing foods before they drink. RIMA's do not interact with tyramine in the same way as irreversible maoi's.

Of course you have to watch out for certain drug interactions..but that is not really a "diet". Eat what you like..but keep track of what other psychoactives you use. Some foods like cacao are stimulants and will be potentiated by harmalas..so keep that in mind.
Long live the unwoke.

Looks like that question may have been answered with a link to the FAQ in the second post of this thread. The FAQ talks about Ayahuasca, but it applies to changa. As some others already stated in this thread, make sure you aren't taking medication that will react negatively with MAOI/RIMAs.

Diet is not necessary, especially for changa, but many people do it anyway. It depends on who you ask.

From post #2 above:

Not necessary to have any diet on changa either (the pharmaceutical interaction is still a risk so do not smoke changa if you're consuming amphetamines or anti depressants or similar)

Have a look around the forum. There are plenty of other threads just like these and there is even an entire sub-forum dedicated to changa.
