With regards to salvia and opioid addiction, salvinorin-A is a kappa opioid receptor agonist. I believe you may be referring to my discussion on the old board with TRYPTA/PHENETHYL-AMINE who mistakenly thought it was an antagonist.
Yes, generally speaking antagonists will send you into withdrawal, but particularly it seems to be the mu opioid receptor that is involved in addiction, not so much the kappa.
Actually salvinorin has changed our understanding of the opioid receptors, which were not thought to have visionary potential before, at least not like what salvia provides.
It now seems the kaapa receptor may be responsible for "opium dreams," whereas the mu receptor gives you that warm fuzzy feeling that is so addictive.
I have read of using salvia to lessen opioid withdrawal, but in my experiments whilst withdrawing from Kratom, it did little to help.
Speaking as an ex heroin addict, I can tell you what worked for me:
1. Follow this tek for acquiring DMT salts:
http://www.dmt-nexus.me/...s&m=10933𚬔. Follow the "harmaloid freebase tek" on this forum for rue extract.
3. Plan a date to kick. Get all the indulgence out of the way about a week before that date, say goodbye to it, get your fill of it. Then taper off the last few daze as much as you can stand... think of how sick you are of it, how you're only doing a tiny bit to make life bearable for now but soon life will be so much cooler without it.
4. On the planned day, as your last dose is wearing off and you're starting to get sick, clear a space and consume 300mg freebase harmaloids and 200 mg mimosa extract from the above teks. By "clear a space," I mean create a sacred space where you will not be disturbed, and where you can safely undergo whatever psychospiritual conflicts you need to face to overcome your self-imprisonment. Prepare yourself mentally. Also be prepared to face the demon(s) responsible for keeping you down in your "less than ideal" state of existance.
5. Puke up said demons, and let the healing medicine work its magick on you. Do not fear whatever comes up, welcome it however ugly it may seem, and accept the lessons that the medicine is showing you about said ugliness.
6. For the next few weeks, take it easy and follow a diet of no processed foods or red meats, with all fresh fruits and vegetables and fresh fish. Take lots of Rhodiola Rosea (an herb that re-aligns your body's opioid receptors and promotes adaptation to stress). Use kava kava (piper methysticum), blue lilly (nymphaea curelea), blue lotus (nelumbo nucifera), valerian root (valeria officianalis - USE WHOLE ROOT ONLY, NO EXTRACTS!), and GABA (gamma-amino-butyric acid, available at your local health food store) to ease any lingering withdrawal symptoms. If you're really, really hooked to the point of getting seriously ill, a weaker opiate like codiene or kratom can be used to take the edge off, but this is risky as fuck. It's best if you can just be done with it and suffer through the sickness, after all it's really no worse than a case of the flu. The aforementioned herbs really do help, they'll never get you as "high" as you'd like to be but they can keep you out of the lower layers of hell. The main benefit will come from the pharmacological changes that occur from ingesting the mimosa/rue combination. You may not even experience any withdrawal at all, or very little, depending on how well you're able to conquer your demons during the ceremony. It may sound silly to the "rational" mind, but there really is something deeply spiritual going on with addiction, and DMT lets you confront the spirit realm directly. I'm not asking you to believe this but keep an open mind.
7. Search within yourself to find a reason to make life worth living without the fake goodness of opiates. Believe me, there are much more rewarding paths to follow in this world, though it may take several months before they become apparent through the chemical fog you're in now. I promise you, it is worth it, or at least it can be if you let it. Repeating regular pharmahuasca ceremonies as described above can help you find this new sense of purpose... it did for me anyway.
Best of luck, feel free to send me any questions you may have.
The Peace of Love be with you Brother,
SyZyGyPSy
