This was my first time trying mescaline. I didn't plan for a strong trip and was just curious enough to familiarize myself with its effects.

Ingredients/Materials:

21g of San Pedro powder
3 bowls of Cannabis (with a water pipe)
Slices of Watermelon (for flavor)
Agave (for flavor)
Lemon Balm Tea (for nausea)
1 Tibetan Bowl

Preparation:

No special diet. I'm ovo-vegetarian so I'm not sure if other diets may have an effect.

Music:

Instrumental for the first 2 hours.

03:00 - Went out for a light lunch and a nature walk
03:30 - Felt slightly euphoric

08:47 - Full-blown DMT-like trip
08:55 - Come down

Experience:

I started preparing a lemon balm tea and drank it before San Pedro. I also made another lemon balm tea for sipping after.

I mixed the San Pedro powder with some water. It had a super thick consistency, and it tasted like matcha green tea with hints of bitterness. It wasn't that bad but the consistency made my stomach queasy so I added a splash of agave. It helped with the taste but not much. I ate small slices of watermelon after every gulp and it took me about 25+ minutes to consume the entire cup.

For the first 2 hours, I felt nothing but calm and slightly sleepy (maybe it was the lemon balm). I expected to feel something at this point but nothing. I thought it was a dud so I decided I'm gonna go for a walk and get some lunch.

In the middle of my walk, I started to feel euphoric and was slightly laughing. Sat down near some trees to gain some composure before I go into the restaurant. The euphoria went away and had a light lunch. I decided to do another nature walk and the euphoria came back, it was beautiful.

I came home and the effects started to get stronger. I felt this primal energy inside me, I was more expressive and quite assertive (in a good way) when I was discussing different topics with my partner. I felt I needed to tame this masculine energy with a few bowls of cannabis (it's been about 1.5 months since my last).

I thought that balancing masculine and feminine energies was something I needed to do. The euphoria was even more intense this time but I was more tamed. I asked my partner to lay on the couch and feel the vibrations of the Tibetan bowl. As I started playing it, within a minute, I started to feel like I'm on DMT. I continued playing then I closed my eyes as the vibrations were getting stronger and stronger, the visions started.

The speed it came on and off was like Bufo but the height of the experience was similar to DMT. Pretty close to Changa but clearer like Ayahuasca. This was unexpected but beautiful and profound.

I was sucked into space and became an entity of yellow energy. I was holding hands with other similar beings as we were passing balls of energy onto one another, and I saw many as far as my eyes could see. Geometric shapes started to appear everywhere connecting all of us. My partner said I was talking gibberish and made primal sounds. The feeling was cosmic in nature.

I learned from these entities/beings to always balance our masculine and feminine energies when interacting with one another to create balance and harmony. When someone is angry or frustrated, I need to let them speak despite my personal disagreements and assure them that I am listening even though I may not agree. When someone is feeling vulnerable, I need to make them feel safe and guide them out of their despair.

I learned to always read someone's energy before reacting to properly gauge the response needed to create balance and harmony, yin and yang. When energies are not balanced, chaos ensues.

THC and Mescaline are too overpowering for me (750m of monomescaline citrate experience). Not doing that combo again personally.

I read your experience report partially out of personal interest. I never tried cactus, but I feel it calling since a few years. My current life situation just doesn't seem to allow me to go on such a long quest.
But I could imagine starting low to at least get a glimpse and what you described seems manageable even in my situation. I got a jar with powdered san pedro which is collecting dust since about a year.
May I ask how you have chosen the amount of powder you took?

Definitely no THC on my next one. I may give it another shot someday with more preparedness and a ceremonial setting.


I was reading a couple of anecdotal reports on reddit and how certain dosages affected them. From what I've gathered, certain people felt it as low as 14g to some suggesting 30 - 60g.

I decided to use 21g cause I like Fibonacci numbers I'm going to try 34g next.
