My name is Fabio, Buzzi for my brothers and sister, I've just wanted to register in rhis forum because I'd like to share my doubts about the chaotic classification of the ipomoeas species. But also 'cause I need an help with my baby lophophora, and, last but not least, to take care about my echinopsis/trichocereus (however we want to call them). So let me know where to join a debate about the different ipomoeas species and where to receive good suggestion for making my pachanoi and the bridgesii growing up strong and healthy. Thank so much. 🌈PEACE✌LOVE❤FREEDOM🦅

Welcome, fellow cactus fan!

You're in luck, the Nexus is secretly a cactus cult (oops, now I've said it!)

Looks like something has been nibbling your Lophophoras? Sad

The Trichocereus look OK - although they don't necessarily need such a content of grit and stones in the pots as some cacti might. If they don't grow at least 20cm this year I'd consider changing their substrate for something with less limestone in it. This worked for a couple of my terscheckii's when they'd stalled, at least.

Feel free to start your Ipomoea disambiguation thread in the welcome area. That kind of engagement would help with your chances of promotion to full membership, at which point your thread could be transferred to the appropriate section of the forum. If there's a pre-existing thread which you'd like to reply to, but it's in an area of the forum where you are not yet able to post, simply start a thread with the title "Re: <title of the thread you'd like to reply to>".

I hope some other members will drop by soon enough for a look at your cacti. Thumbs up

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli
