Tabernaemontana divaricata, commonly called pinwheel flower,[3] crape jasmine, East India rosebay and Nero's crown[4] is an evergreen shrub or small tree native to South Asia, Southeast Asia and China.[1] In zones where it is not hardy it is grown as a house/glasshouse plant for its attractive flowers and foliage. The stem exudes a milky latex when broken, whence the name milk flower.

The species is known to produce many alkaloids including catharanthine, coronaridine, dregamine, ibogamine, tabersonine, voacangine, voacamine and voacristine.[7][8] Ibogaine, which is said to occur in multiple Tabernaemontana species as well as 10,11-Demethoxychippiine which is a rare chippiine-dippinine compound is found in stem bark extract of this plant in minor concentrations

Thanks for the info on the plant.

I think the info on ibogaine content might be wrong though, none of the two papers referenced in wikipedia mention ibogaine, only other related alkaloids.

Are you aware of any traditional use of this plant, be it for psychoactive or other purposes? Seems like quite a mix of alkaloids and other compounds, not sure if all of them are safe.

On the second paper the yields of the different compounds is stated.. Even for people interested in voacangine to do the conversion to ibogaine, it doesn't seem to be a good option because the voacangine yield is very small (0.09g/kg plant material), not to mention one would have to work out the separation from everything else.
