Check out these new developments! Looks like marijuana legalization on a federal level could be in our near future finally. These are some crazy times we live in. I think it's high time (pun intended) we reach the bottom and now we can begin to bring ourselves even higher. (pun intended)

These are just a couple headlines that really caught my eye. Call or write your states senators and congressmen (I have) and let them know your opinion. Get involve, let's push this over the edge. It's a democracy and our voices can be heard if we band together.

Thumbs up

Meanwhile they're raiding stores selling Delta 8 and Delta 10 and states, including my own unfortunately, are moving to make Delta 8/10 illegal/schedule 2.

And in Colorado, they're trying make an argument for limiting potency of strains and concentrates... smh, interesting since alcohol isn't really monitored by proof...

What if the "truth" is: the "truth" is indescernible/unknowable/nonexistent? Then the closest we get is through being true to and with ourselves.

That's the dream, and hopefully it'll influence the rest of the states to follow suit. However, legalization still has further to go while limits/bans on growing plants exist on top of the obscene tax rates.

What kinda sucks (and hopefully will change... who am I kidding, the situation is immersed in vulture capitalism) is that the taxing incentives other states to follow suit. Not research (particularly), not harm reduction, or keeping non-violent offenders out of jail... money. Bottom line is the top dollar smh.

This is good news! Completely agree that getting involved is an essential step to creating change! It has been demonized for long enough (far too long really). I'm in the "legalize all drugs" camp and use the money to fund addiction/rehab centers for those who want or need it. We need to stop treating people like criminals for simply ingesting something and start treating it like the health issue that it really is, IMO.

I also read somewhere that Florida is trying to cap THC content at something like 10%, and concentrates around 60%. I haven't followed up on that so I don't know if the bill went anywhere or not. But it is shameful to see politicians ignoring the will of the voters in Florida. I'm glad I don't live there (not that my state is much better Very happy ).
