I was having some real trouble brewing my "ACRB" as I found that it was so finely powdered that I couldn't remove it from solution. After doing some digging with the vendor, I think that it may be extract instead - I received a package from THEIR raw materials supplier (I think the vendor just grinds, packages and sells) indicating what went into my powder.

I received the following:

It appears to be leaves and small stems. It would explain 1) why my ACRB wasn't delivering any light at 5g doses, and 2) why I couldn't filter it out of my brew.

My question: is it worth it to try and brew this at higher doses? Is there enough spice to be nice?

Thanks to all of you beautiful people,

Considering leaves are in no way root bark (the "RB" in "ACRB") you ought to demand a refund. Obviously, in this case the tannin content of the root bark must be what is important to you.

Brewing phyllodes ("leaves") for light effects would be pointless: https://wiki.dmt-nexus.me/Acacia_confusa#Phyllodes

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
